Very Good Experience and staying, good services and close to the city center. They are welcoming and very lovely. It is walking distance to the city center and there is enough space to park your car. Perfect
We wanted a place within walking distance to the old town where we could park our car. This worked out perfectly. The room was comfortable, the A/C worked well, the breakfast was good and the hosts very kind and informative. Verona has been our favorite Italian city, and this has been our favorite accommodation.
This B&B really is beautiful visually and is perfect for couples looking for a quiet getaway. Upon arrival Annalisa and, I think her husband, were so welcoming, we were given a comprehensive video presentation of the landmarks in Verona which went far beyond our expectations. In the morning Annalisa went out of her way to provide us a lovely breakfast and it really did have a personal feel. To explain it better, it honestly felt more like visiting estranged relatives taking us in for a few days rather than booking a standard B&B. They were so attentive and really wanted to make our stay as comfortable as possible which was so nice! The room we had was spacious and very clean. Perhaps from a personal level the bathroom was a bit small as I'm fairly tall but that's me being really picky. Towels replaced daily unless requesting to reuse and bedding changed/made daily. The garden, too, was so pretty with lemon trees growing and a little table and chairs. I couldn't recommend enough! If we return to Verona I would definitely stay here again!!…
This is a lovely budget B&B with all the amenities you require. It’s like home from home tbh! They are really lovely and welcoming and made the stay extra special. It is 15 - 20 min walking distance from the train station and about the same to the centre of the town. Ideally situated in our mind. It was very clean and tidy and breakfast was included. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. We travelled around Italy and tried a couple of other budget hotels and this one was the best by fat. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
Location was good. About 10 mins from the main station. Going to the old town would take longer. It wasn’t a problem for us as we did take our time strolling into the old city. Annalise was such a nice lady. She explained to us the location and recommended a couple of cheap eats, which we tried and were very satisfied with the tips. Warning: wifi is weak to none, but we were ok with it as we were outside most of the time. Definitely recommend this place.
We were extremely pleased with our stay. Family of four had two rooms with a queen bed and each ensuite. We arranged arrival time where John met us and gave a great overview of the city of Verona and its history. It's not a typical B&B. The owners do not live in the facility. The downstairs has a living room with three rooms they rent out. The upstairs is apartments and has separate locked door. It's in a nice neighborhood with street parking. We were unable to find parking the next day after we were checking out and the owners allowed us to stay in their private driveway for the day. They were extremely helpful. And the breakfast was incredible
I had a comfortable stayover in Tulipano. The owners are very friendly and the rooms are large and well decorated. The beds are good and breakfast is delicious. B&B is located at walking distance from center
Very good reception. They lent us bikes to get around town and recommended places to see and where to eat. The only possible minus was a weird smell in the bedroom (just too much air freshener, I believe), but all around a nice place.
I stayed for 1 night only and it’s a lovely place. Very quiet, very clean, they were very helpful with the explanation about the kitchen appliances, door locks, facilities and how to get to the historical city center. I stayed in the first guest room closest to the kitchen, the wifi signal there is very good and the shower has a really good water pressure. They let me comfortable to make my own breakfast because I had to leave 6am but I did not have the time to eat anything honestly, so I’m not capable of evaluate that.
Can't express enough praise for Il Tulipano. With a wonderful hostess, a beautiful historic yet modernized property, the excellent location near the city center/main train terminal, and an excellent breakfast, this B&B was nothing short of perfect and would gladly stay again my next time in Verona and highly recommend to others!
