The Leopardi hotel is a wannabe modern outdated hotel. The entrance is flashy but soon as you step on the carpeting everything is dump and sticky,so cleanliness is not as it should be.We stayed for two night's and it was the worse stay in my life. They held a party at the hotel till 4.30 in the morning and when we filed a complain they didn't care at all.In the room you don't have any closet just a hanger. And also there is really poor lightning in the room. They have really bad windows and we find really hard to get a sleep because you can hear all the traffic from outside in the room.Breakfasr was mediocre and cleanliness all-around was really bad.I totally unrecommend a stay
The Hotel itself is clean and nice but the staff is not very friendly, especially the lady that is working at the reception desk, it felt like we were a big burden to her. Breakfast was good and diverse, but dinner was a bit disappointing.
We stayed for long weekend in design room suite. Room very modern and spacious, rainfall shower and cleaned to high standard every day. Hotel staff were lovely. Breakfast was standard buffet but plenty of choice. It was about 20 mins walk to centre i.e juliet's balcony but other sights of interest on route. Also recommend catching train to Lake Garda for day trip which was 9 euros return trip.
We stayed for 3 nights as we travelled down Italy for 10 days. This was our first stop, it was a nice Hotel, breakfast was OK, we found getting there as soon as it opened was best so the food was more fresh, staff were friendly and helpful. Location wise it was 20-30 minute walk to the train station or into the centre of town.
Nice and clean business hotel near the centar (walking on foot cc 20 min normal pace). Offers free parking on the hotel property. The rooms are mixured of old and new furniture, but very clean and good noise isolation. The street of the hotel is nice and quiet, near a coffe shop, supermarket lidl and across the street you have Mcdonalds and a gas station. The tv is old so you can't watch your streaming services but just enjoy italian tv channels. The breakfeast is a buffet so that is good if you are picky.
What is it with Italian hotels selling rooms with air con, but none have it? The corridors do, but the room was like Dante’s inferno even with the temperature at 5 degrees and on max fan. Not very pleasant at all as it was 29 degrees outside. Also, the hotel was in need of a total makeover. It was like a throwback to the 90s. And the staff were the surliest bunch I’ve met. The type where you’d get your head bitten off if you chatted. On a positive, the room was a decent size and parking was free, but that’s it. I’d most certainly avoid this hotel.
Breakfast was lovely, Room was clean & spacious. Surprised to find TWO hairdryers, useful for 2 ladies. Very convenient location, easy walk to the centre and didn't take much longer than getting a taxi when you account for traffic. The staff could not have been more helpful throughout the whole trip, especially reception staff who even helped locate my lost phone when I’d left it in the taxi from the airport!! We had a really lovely stay, and I would come back if I’m ever in Verona again.
Excellent property, Ideally located, very close to the center. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing and incredibly helpful. The restaurant was also great. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Verona.
The only good point of this hotel is the fact that they provide free parking for your car. The rooms a old furnished, the bathrooms old and unfriendly, you can easily hear your neighbors with all the door closed. One morning the laundry guys woke up us around 5:00 in the morning and the receptionist was quite impolite. Quite bad experience, good for one night, not a solution for a long stay.
This was our second visit at this place as we went again for a night at the Arena di Verona to Italy. We like this place as it is in walking distance to the city centre and very close by the lovely borough of St. Zeno. The place is clean and offers a good breakfast, the staff is friendly and with a very good command of English, which isn't usually the forte of hotel staff in Italy. The rooms at the top floors were lately rejuvenated this time we spent the nights at the second floor where this still wasn't the case, but credit to the Hotel the room was spotless clean and although it was clear hat it wasnt brand new it sported some cozy patina and we liked it very much. There is a parking lot on the premises for the guests and dogs are allowed which is a great plus.
