Located halfway between the station and the arena. An easy walk from the station with luggage, 10 minutes. Same again to the arena. Our room was small, ok for a one-night stay. No wardrobe, just a rail. I’m sure there are larger rooms available, which would be advisable if you have more than small hand luggage. There is a fridge and a safe in the room. The room and the bathroom were both spotless. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, but there is a nice coffee shop a few doors down towards the station. It looks tiny but it has lots of seating at the back.
As I stated in a previous review, I selected this hotel on a whim. We must have walked by it a dozen times the last time we stayed in Verona and I have to say I was delighted by this hotel. It is a 5 to 7 minute walk from the train station and it it is a 5 to 10 minutes walk to the amphitheater and shopping. From the moment that we checked in until our departure, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was located in the rear off of their courtyard. It was just the right size for the two of us and most importantly had a very comfortable bed and was QUIET. We had a few hours to kill before catching our train to Milan and the staff stored our luggage at no charge and let us relax in the lounge until we were ready to leave. Out of all of the hotels that we stayed at while in Italy, the Indigo Verona had the best breakfast. Not only was the room large and airy, the variety and selections offered were top notch. Plus the wait staff was very polite and friendly. We are not coffee drinkers but the variety of teas and juices offered was wonderful. Staying at this hotel was the perfect way to end our trip to Italy. It was a very relaxing experience and honestly, I look forward to staying at this hotel when we return to Verona.…
I typically like the Indigo brand. And this particular one had some good points including warm and friendly staff, a good bar with evening snacks, a solid though not overwhelming breakfast buffet, and a decent price (off season). That said, our suite reminded me more of a dormitory than a comfortable hotel although the bathroom was large and inviting. Our room lacked decent lighting or decor of any sort. The windows were covered partially with alternating stripes of white glass and clear glass which made it impossible to even see out the windows. Make sure, should you book here, to ask to see the room first before you decide to stay. It’s location is convenient enough, a brisk 10 minute walk to the historic center, though not in the heart of this charming city.
The best thing about the hotel is its location and the staff, otherwise it is a correct hotel that meets the minimums of its category, there is no restaurant, the breakfast buffet is of low quality and in the basement, small rooms with mini shower.
Excellent location, easy to reach from the airport . Very attentive staff but not over the top, keen to help you make the most of your trip. Hotel was boutique stylish and pleasant decor. Room was nice (2 up from basic). Pleasant bar area with very good cocktails . Breakfast classic continental with good variety in a nice breakfast room
Arrived in Verona from the UK around noon so too early to check in however we were warmly welcomed by reception and as we were ready for a drink and some food James the barman made sure we were looked after immediately. There is no actual restaurant on site to eat for lunch or dinner (only breakfast) but James suggested a couple of dishes he could have made in the kitchen and serve to us in the bar area. The food was delicious. We were only there for x3 nights but we ate in the bar twice as it was so relaxed. There are plenty of restaurants on the doorstep to choose from alternatively. Breakfast was superb and again the service was excellent. All staff greeted you each day and nothing was too much trouble. They were very helpful with site seeing tips too! Room was spacious (double premium) and very clean, also great lighting in the bathroom (which I find very important for getting ready as a female!). We had a Juliet balcony on the front of the hotel which was great for people watching on an evening. Only marked down to 4 stars as would like to have seen a separate area on site for lunch/dinner option and reception area could use some better air-con. Rooms were well air conditioned though. Would fully recommend and would not hesitate to stay again. …
You can see by the pictures that the Indigo Hotel is beautiful and cozy, but what you can not see is the amazing and welcoming staff! From the always happy "Buongiorno" from reception team, to the best cappuccino at breakfast and delicious cocktails at the bar. Of course I need to mention the tidy rooms thanks to the housekeeping team. Definitely an experience to repeat and to recommend. Grazie mille to you all!
Fantastic location took a bus from the airport and it dropped us at the railway station then we had a maximum 10 min walk and found the hotel on the main road into town The welcome was very warm and friendly and we were given maps with recommendations of places to go and traditional restaurants, and they saw from my passport it was my birthday the next day so said I’d be getting a sweet treat at breakfast! Rooms were good size complementary water tea and coffee hot chocolate and biscuits bath robe and very comfy bed We went out for the night and then came back and our lovely Batman made amazing cocktails and was very charming. Next morning breakfast was amazing nothing was missing from the buffet so much choice and variety even Prosecco if you wanted it I was then presented with a lovely cake and a candle and the staff sang happy birthday! The hotel is perfect location 10 minutes into town everywhere is walkable around Verona. The only downside was the noise of others showering and walking around at 8 am insulation from indoor noise was the only thing that let this hotel down…
Stayed one night as part of a wine tourism evaluation visit. The hotel has a very good feel to it and staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. I stayed in Room 116, not the biggest of the rooms I saw and the shower cubicle was a little small by modern standards but the bed was comfortable and it was a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of hot and cold food but the best part of the hotel is the location. Situated a short walk from both the train station and the Arena makes this an ideal location for a short break in Verona. Close enough to get to the centre quickly but away from the hustle and bustle of the city itself. I would certainly stay here again if in Verona.
Hotel is a wonderful place to stay- great accommodations, thoughtful amenities in the room, clean with spacious lobby and adjacent bar with menu. Desk associates friendly and courteous answering all our questions and offering assistance with maps for directions and locations of our dinner reservations, exchanging large Euro bills. Breakfast buffet offers both hot and cold selection with wide variety and gracious staff. Walkable to train station and Verona sites. Highly recommend and would return without hesitation.
