Bagonlina Boutique proved the perfect place to stay for our weekend in Verona. It was lovely to get away from the busy city at the end of each day to just chill out. Elena was the perfect host - she texted on the morning we were due to arrive to find out what time we would get there and she was waiting to greet us. Throughout the stay she provided excellent local information and a useful map of the city. The room was so comfortable and overlooked the beautiful courtyard. The bed in particular was perfect and the air-conditioning was quiet and efficient. Breakfast was excellent and set us up well for our sightseeing. Getting into Verona was very easy on the frequent and punctual bus service. We would definitely stay again.
This B & B is so amazing in would actually stay here for a week if I could the beds are so comfortable the bathrooms have those big walk in showers, the breakfast is amazing and the location to verona brilliant, all I can say is go there and you will not be disappointed. There's also some lovely places to eat around there too .
So splendid was the time we spend to this hotel for our honey moon. Besides the hotel conditions that were very good, also we were impressed by the aid and hospitality of Mrs Elena, which was very communicative.
We stayed in this lovely little B and B for only one night. When we arrived it was closed, no one in sight, and it was about three in the afternoon. We rang the bell many times to no answers. We walked up the street to a hairdresser who was very helpful and called and checked but no answer, then she noted on our reservation that arrivals were between four to six, and suggested that if we went at that time someone would likely be there.....and she arrived about ten after four. The room was lovely, linens beautiful and cozy. bathroom unique and well fitted. Breakfast was also very nice. Elena was most willing to share information on the area. The only thing to remember.....come at the arrival time, also, there is no phone in your suite so if you need something you are on your own.....ie if you run out of toilet paper!!! We would stay there again. It was good value for the area.…
I chose this B&B based on tripadvisor reviews and the reviews were spot on. I was in the smaller room, perfect for a solo traveller, with a wonderful shower, and comfy bed. Everything was spotless and very pretty. The house is beautifully renovated, no struggling upstairs with luggage as there is a modern lift, very unobtrusive and very welcome! Elena provided all the information I needed on buses, city map, dining etc. She handed me my ticket to the Opera that I had purchased online and had delivered to her prior to my arrival. The breakfast was lovely!! Beautifully laid out and plentiful. This B&B is about 20 minutes out of town, and as a solo traveller I realised I would have preferred to be closer but the bus stops right outside and the quality of the place more than made up for this.…
Beautifully renovated, soft beds and excellent courtyard. Elena was so warm, knowledgable and welcoming would really recommend Bagolina to everyone! Try the trattoria tiad whilst you are there for great food. Thoroughly enjoyed the last night of the opera aida in the arena at Verona . Sue and Steve
Although a little out of Verona, this is no problem as there is a regular bus, minutes from the B&B that goes straight to the city. The house is beautifully renovated and modern. Our room was very comfortable and modern with a luxurious shower and hair dryer and toiletries. It was a little on the small side for 2 very tall travellers! Breakfast was extremely generous and could be eaten in the most beautiful courtyard setting. Lots of fruit, yogurt, cereal, hams, cake and coffee. Elena was a good host, providing a map of the city of answering all of our enquiries. We were made to feel welcome and looked after. We had a car and parking was very convenient and free.
Our first trip to Verona was a wonderful experience thanks in part to our choice of B&B. Elena speaks good English and was helpful in showing us the best bus route to get into town. Breakfast was lovely with lots of fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cereal, bread, ham and cheese. Our room was on the compact side, but still very comfortable, although our bed was somewhere in size between a single and a double. Having said that we really enjoyed our stay, and Bagolina represented very good value for money.
My wife and I stayed here with friends for four nights in June. We were made to feel extremely welcome by Elena who speaks good English, her mother less so but she tries to understand. We had four nights here and were offered a selection of rooms. Despite only booking a double room, we chose a small apartment, with a kitchen, table and chairs, and our friends went for the large double room. The whole establishment is decorated and furnished to a high level and our room was cleaned to perfection daily. The shower was small but worked well, it could do with a curtain an inch longer to stop the water going on to the floor, but this isn’t really a complaint! Breakfast was continental with a good selection of fruits, cheeses, hams, boiled eggs and yoghurt available. Bread appeared to be home made and toasted beautifully. Fresh tea and coffee was plentiful. Elena made time for us and the other guests with suggestions and recommendations of things to do, places to see and restaurants, in particular a very close restaurant, Trattoria dal Taio was absolutely fantastic and a must eat. The biggest excitement was being hit by a small earthquake tremor one evening, which was very exciting but it came to nothing and obviously completely beyond the control of anyone. It is situated a few miles north of Verona, lots of free parking nearby and ideally situated for getting in and out of Verona and visiting the vineyards of Valpolicella and the Soave regions. I would very much recommend this B&B and my wife is already planning to come back next year with a girlfriend during opera season (not my cup of tea).…
Its nice, cozy and its on the beginning of Valpolicella,so its really wort to stay if you want to enjoy to visit Verona,Valoplicella and Garda lake. Both of them are really worth to spend your time. Pros: its quite complicate to stay there if you travelling without a car. Early check-out (until 10.00). The rest are really perfect!
