My husband and I stayed in the Generous Gardner room for three nights in September. Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. Nicola is a perfect host and couldn't be any more helpful. The room and grotto are beautiful and the room is very well appointed with everything you need. The breakfasts were delicious with only the highest quality food. I was worried that the location might be too far from the center of the old town but that was not the case at all. We enjoyed being outside of the tourist area and we able to walk to all the main sites easily. There are sites close to the B&B that are amazing. Nicola and his mother (who was helping out some during our visit due to Nicola being unexpectedly short handed) are so nice and generous. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and at home. The were also kind enough to drive us to the train station. Also, the dinner recommendations they gave us were great. One of our favorite B&Bs ever!…
We stayed in the Generous Garden room and loved having our own grotto at the back. Nicola was very helpful, he met us out the front and assisted us with our cases. He also saved us when we got lost, picking us up and pointing us in the right direction to the city. The breakfasts were superb.
I booked this lovely B&B based on all the brilliant reviews I had read - and was not disappointed! As others have said, it is a real hidden gem. Tucked back from the street with a lovely private courtyard, it feels like a cool and calm oasis to retreat to after a hot and busy day sightseeing. Nicola is a great host, very charming and keen to please and to ensure his guests comfort. We stayed in the Generous Gardener which was very clean, comfortable and well equipped - and of of course the pretty garden and cave are an extra special bonus which we didnt make full use of. If we go to Verona again we'd see no need to look for anywhere else to stay, and I will recommend to friends and family. Thank you Nicola!
I was so lucky to find myself at Casa & Nature Breviglieri in Verona. Nicola has created a truly magical space in a magical city. The rooms and space around them are gorgeous and designed to soothe and nurture the spirit. Nicola and his mother provide a lucious breakfast, and serve it with grace and pride. And Nicola knows his city and can tell you anything you need to know and do. Traveling can be challenging even in a great city like Verona, especially for a person traveling alone, and Nicola was able to make mine into a wonderful experience. I can't wait to return to this beautiful place and be greeted once again by this lovely man. .
If you are looking for great hospitality in a beautiful, quiet bed and breakfast in the heart of Verona you will not be disappointed with this property. There arethree individually furnished rooms, one of which (the garden room) leads out into the garden wincing has a surprise - a cave at its rear. The crocus room will sleep four comfortably. Our host, who is the owner of the property and lives there, was on hand to welcome us. Nothing was too much trouble. My friend lost her purse which was recovered down in the main town and our host went to collect it for her, emailing us to say it had been recovered.
