Palazzo Monga is such a beautiful jewel in a great location in Verona. We were able to see all of the rooms and they were stunning. We were only able to stay one night this visit, but we will be back again! Jacob and Julia really took care of us. Morning breakfast room service is a must!
An absolute gem of a hotel. Small (only 4 rooms) so technically cannot be called a hotel but my friend and I LOVED our stay. We stayed in the Presidential suite - worth every penny imho - which had two gorgeous bedrooms, one with a very spacious sitting area with its own piano, and a huge bathroom. The furnishings and decorations feel lavish and exquisite. The ceilings are enviously high. Beds are super comfy. We did not order the breakfast but saw some of the preparations of another room’s order and we regretted not doing the same — it looked and smelled heavenly! Note: the reception desk is not staffed 24x7 but Julia (the owner) was incredibly responsive to texts and ensured we had a wonderful stay. Given my friend and I had just came from 4 days at a very expensive luxury hotel next to St Marks in Venice, we were blown away with what Palazzo Monga provided for a third of the price. Highly recommended and can’t wait to go back!…
We originally booked this truly wonderful boutique hotel in 2019 in readiness for our visit in 2020 for the Verona Opera Festival, needless to say we were thwarted not once but twice thanks to the Covid pandemic. We therefore held our breath that it would be 3rd time lucky and at last our patience was most wonderfully rewarded. It is important to say that throughout our on/off booking owner Julia was totally understanding. We had arranged for the hotel to collect us with their car from Verona airport for the very comfortable though brief journey to the hotel. The position is absolutely perfect, within convenient and easy walking distance of all the major sights, most important for us was the proximity of the Verona Arena about 6 minutes from our hotel base . We were met on arrival by the indefatigable Jakob one of a number of reception staff, who took our luggage to our beautiful accommodation . We were staying for a full week and had booked the first part in the executive suite, and then 4 nights in the Royal suite. Both suites were totally beautiful and everything that you would expect from an Italian Palazzo, with high ceilings and vast rooms with the most luxurious of furnishings and fittings ,showing the most exquisite taste of the owner. The Executive Suite has a separate lounge with a dining area, the bedroom has the largest bed in the palazzo, a huge dressing room and modern bathroom with large walk in shower. Like the Royal Suite there is an enormous sparkling Swarovski chandelier. The Royal Suite ,lives up to its name in its grandeur. The suite has two balconies overlooking one of the main shopping streets, but the glazing, shutters and heavy curtains ensure a quiet nights sleep. A huge bathroom with an enormous bath, separate shower and his and hers sinks. All the facilities were shown to us by Jakob who ensured we were entirely comfortable with our surroundings before leaving us to unpack and settle in. He had taken our phone details and provided his so we could remain in contact throughout our stay. He recommended and booked restaurants to fit with our choices which were excellent and added hugely to our enjoyment of our holiday. Breakfast was served each morning at our chosen time in the suite ,chosen from an extensive menu all freshly made and beautifully presented. From arrival to departure everything was truly wonderful and we can only believe that everyone staying at this wonderful Hotel is going to have a stay, the memory of which will last so much longer than the stay itself.…
Absolutely stunning boutique hotel in the centre of Verona. We have stayed in Verona many times but our stay at Palazzo Monga was one of the best. Magnificent room; spotlessly clean, airy bright and extremely spacious. Delicious breakfast served in our room every morning and wonderfully helpful and pleasant staff. Fantastic location in the heart of Verona with a very discreet entrance off one of the main shopping streets. We would highly recommend Palazzo Monga
I stayed here a year before the pandemic and was knocked out by the beauty of the rooms and the impeccable service. I have stayed at some of the top rated hotels in major cities and this boutique establishment surpasses them all. I love Verona and wanted to visit again but wasn’t sure what I would find during these days of semi-post Covid. The city was alive and this hotel never, ever lost its luster! If you are in Verona this is a MUST. Do not come to this magnificent city and miss this opportunity to stay here. The staff, the details, the feel and the comfort will surely be the icing and the cherries on the cake. Thank you Palazzo Monga.
This little boutique hotel was our favorite stay in our three weeks all over Italy. They don't miss anything. Everything in and outside of the room is carefully thought out. The attention to detail is amazing. The service is top notch and the suggestion for restaurants were spot on. We can't wait to tell our customers about this wonderful place.
Thank you Jake for making our stay perfect. Your attention to excellence in service and our every need was outstanding . We stayed only one night but will return. The location , recommendation for restaurants and attention to detail from Jake made the stay very memorable. We highly recommend Palazzo Mongo and Jake for his excellence in service. Gracie Millie !! Jim and Julie
All of the plaudits of the experience at Palazzo Monga are right on the mark. The location is excellent. The suites are elegant, spacious and quiet. The bathrooms have all the necessary amenities, including a magnifying mirror but bring your own wash cloths. There is plenty of room to hang or tuck your clothes away. The AC was much appreciated during the warm days of our visit. Breakfast, served each morning by two young women, at your requested time, was outstanding. We thank Malek who was helpful and generous with his time. He brought our car around when we made a day visit to Montova and was available to whisk it off again to the car park on our return.
I booked suite for 2 nights with breakfast Location of the hotels amazing in the hart of Verona all the designers shopping next to the hotel , the room really spacious very very clean the furniture and decorations very classy. The service very good Mr Malek welcome us on arrival he took our car to the parking he finished the check in very fast. I’m very satisfied with hotel I will come back again
This is a wonderful place. Right in the centre of Verona, we booked a suite and it was probably the grandest room we have stayed in. Friendly, helpful service, very reasonably priced for the astonishing quality. We would definitely stay there again.
