I was very surprised when a I reached this place. Let's talk about positive things: location in the heart of Verona. That's all! The person who manages this place is a brave man. How is it possible to pay 90€ for a basement? It was incredible to persuade me that I was not having a nightmare. The room was underground...

We were very contented, B&B Casa Coloniale is central, clean and we got a good price. The owner welcomed us with tipps for the best pizzeria. Breakfast is given in Cafe Coloniale round the corner - with fresh pressed orange juice and what someone wishes. If we go to Verona again, we will come again!

A real little gem, centrally located on the edge of the Piazza Erbe, and close to all of the main sights in Verona, e.g. the arena is a 10 minute walk. I was travelling lightish, so walked from the railway station (30 mins). Luca (the owner) was very friendly and helpful Breakfast is in the Caffe' Coloniale (5 mins away),...

Very good located, rather big, comfort clean room. Stayed there for 2 nights. Cleaning every day. Good breakfast in cafe in 2 min from hotel. Good fast wifi. Perfect location for visiting and walkting down the town. Situated exactly on Piazza Erbe and Julietta`s balcony is really in 50 metres! Arena di Verona is in 7 min walking, shopping street...

Right in the centre of the city of Verona as everyone says just off Piazza Erbe, a spit from the (entirely false) Juliette balcony and easy walking to most of the must-see sights, opposite the old university building. Does what it says on the tin, bed (which was very good king size) in a large airy room 1 floor up...

We stayed in the green room for 4 nights. Accommodation is comfortable, clean, good bathroom and shower, wifi, lovely big bed. Room had a quaint balcony from which you can see Pizzia Erbe. The road outside the window can be quite busy and noisy but once the double glazed doors were closed we had an excellent night's sleep hearing nothing...

I have never experienced such a hotel in all my life !!! VERY NOISY outside and inside... Doors slamming also during the night...The door of my room was very thin and I could hear all the conversations in the lobby at all hours of the day and night! The only positive thing was the Wi-Fi... The breakfasts are to be...

Would recommend the casa coloniale to anyone looking for a short break in Verona. Location couldn't be better, just off the main piazza, but not noisy at night. Aircon and wireless both worked a treat and the room (we took the green room) was lovely, especially the bathroom (great shower too). Very reasonable charge and eating breakfast at the caffe...

“Stay in the basement of it's a place to rest your head as great value for location, but if intending to spend more time in the room, opt for one of the other rooms available. Use your breakfast allowance, it's well worth it as food and drink pricy in this area being so close to Juliet's balcony”
