My wife and I have just got back from the Air suite in Verona two hours ago, Very nice! From Verona Airport walk outside the Terminal and immediately on your right is a Bus stop, get a Bus just outside the Airport terminal, 6 Euros per head and it's very simple, Taxi quotes 35 euros, I have not got on a bus since I was 10 and found it very easy, once in Verona .when you get off the nice bus, look left, this is where the bus is facing and keep walking, walk over the bridge and walk for 10 mins. after a few zebra crossings keep going straight and on your left is a hotel called Hotel Mastino this is on your left, go in there lovely reception, they gave us wine and let us leave our bags there till we wanted to be escorted to the air suite, the Air suite is opposite you will see two huge wrought Iron Gates! This is your Baby, Sorry for miss-spelling and puncturations but still in the zone , Cant wait to return ! the only compalint we have is the room only has CNN news in English but apart from that very nice, My thanks to Trip adviser as well for there service and I Hope you have a Great time Guys amazing place , Magical cant wait to return Pete Fiona x…
This hotel is one of several hotels of a group. The address on our reservation took us to an office building and left us very perplexed. After several inquiries at local businesses we were directed to the Hotel Mastino across the street where the registration desk was located. Staff there were helpful and escorted us across the street directing us how to access one of the many Air Suite rooms. Our room was large, airy and comfortable with a balcony overlooking a side street. The platform bed was very comfortable and the TV unique in the mirrored sliding closet door. It had A/C and elevators - a must for us in hotels. The location is great and a very short walk to the Piazza Bra, the main square of Verona, transportation, restaurants, shopping and tours. Breakfast is available and we did enjoy it there one morning. An off-site underground garage was provided (for a daily fee) where we parked the car we were driving. A suggestion to the hotel: be much more clear on guest registration location or provide signage at the Air Suite actual location directing guests across the street.…
Hotel was amazing, great modern room, massive bathroom, excellent breakfast, great staff, great location...could not fault!! This hotel exceeded our expectations and we would recommend it to everyone!
The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Very modern. Comfortable beds and lovely ensuites. You check in at the hotel just over the road and they take your bags over. Staff there were very helpful and stored our bags until we could check in and when we checked out. Nice breakfast selection - you can either have it delivered to the room or walk across the street to the check in area. Literally 2 mins walk from Piazza Bra - the location was just excellent!
First of all it is difficult to find the entrance. The rooms are located in a large office building and there is no sign or reception. To check on you must go across the road, with your luggage, to another hotel and then back across the road, again with your lugagge, to gain access to the building with the rooms. The room itself is ok but not at all worth the money charged. For example, you can obtain a room in a much nicer hotel in a larger city in Italy for around the same price as charged here. The room is not soundproof and we were awoken a number of times during the night by other guests walking to and from their rooms. There is breakfast included but the breakfast room is located across the road in the other hotel and is very poor quality. There are no amenities in the building with the rooms or staff there to assist etc. Overall, we think this “hotel” is over priced by at least €100 a night.…
