#180 of 412 in Venice
On the banks of Giudecca Island, a thriving artistic center of Venice, stands a modern Venetian Masterpiece. The Molino Stucky, once a flourishing flour mill, is now internationally recognized as one of Italy’s iconic pieces of industrial architecture. Beautifully restored, it now houses a hotel unlike any other, offering a unique view of Venice. A bold statement, with 379 rooms and suites, the hotel manages to balance intimacy with scale. A place of comforting guest bedrooms and unrivaled restaurants, ballrooms and meeting areas. Guests enjoy the best of both worlds. A short, five-minute boat ride from the heart of Venice, Giudecca Island provides peaceful respite from the intensity of the city and is exceptionally well served by easy access to the airport and rail station. If all this isn’t enough then there is the largest spa in Venice, outstanding service, fine dining, rooftop pool and bar with breath-taking views over the city and shuttle service.

This is a gorgeous property on Giudecca across the canal. Although it takes a water taxi to get there it is more than worth it. The Skyline bar is fantastic. Staff is well trained and accommodative in the old world style. Its hard to find any fault with this Hilton property or management.

Hotel's Favourite
The hotel is beautiful and located right on guidecca island just a boat ride from the main island away from the crowds.Room was a bid old but clean and comfortable with a great view of the water and the city. Our room had access to the executive lounge, however, this opens from 12-7 .Fantastic breakfast buffet style ,fresh orange juice and great coffee.A plus service.Excellent and professional staff .Amazing views from the pool but pool doesn’t open everyday. There is a restaurant on the main floor but food is mediocre. Shuttle boat to San Marcos island is a bonus. If you are coming here from Santa Lucia train station.take the ferry that comes to guidecca island the ferry stops at the molino stucky and it’s only 15 minutes ride also inexpensive .or you can go to San Marco and take the hotel shuttle but is longer about two hours .. the Red Cross comes to your room and do the covid test very easy so you don’t have to worry about that . I love the private feeling of this location near to all but away from the madness of the city .

We had a great stay at the Hilton Molino Stucky in Venice. Our room was beautiful, clean, and had a great view. The breakfast was fabulous and the roof top bar had a beautiful sunset view and excellent beverages. The staff members were friendly, polite and professional.

Our Hilton stay at the Molino Stucky Hotel was wonderful. We had a nice quiet room looking out over a canal and the AC worked great (it was very hot outside). The staff was wonderful, especially Roberto who went above and beyond with not just us, but everyone I saw that he came in contact with. The executive lounge was well stocked and very nice, especially after 20 hours of traveling to get a quick snack. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the staff would do everything they could do to get you want you wanted. The shuttle is very convenient (provided by the hotel). I was glad to be a little bit away from the crowded part of Venice. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Venice was the last stop in our trip before heading to the U.S. So far we've been staying in small 4-star hotels that were very pleasant and very Italian. We decided to end the trip in a 5-star hotel, and being a Hilton member, it was logical choice. The reviews were great and you can't usually go wrong with a chain like Hilton. When we got there, we were surprised that it was located far from the main island, but the hotel has a shuttle service (for a fee) every 20 or so minutes which was pretty convenient. When you enter the hotel you forget you're in Venice. It's a very American, corporate style atmosphere. Check-in took a while, while they upsell you on getting the $75 Executive lounge where you can get some snacks throughout the day and that also gave you access to the breakfast. The lounge was super meh, and next day we realized that breakfast was open to everyone. Good breakfast though. There's a rooftop bar and pool. Beautiful view of Venice, We went to check it out. It was around 7PM, the sun was still up, nice breezy weather, but they kept following us to tell us that they are closing at 7.

We were somewhat disappointed in our Hilton stay at the Molino Stuckey Venice. The rooms were nice, and had great views of the canals but overall, we weren't happy with this Hilton stay. The hotel itself is looking a bit shabby to be honest. The carpet in the hallways needs replacing. We had a medical emergency leaving our destination, so we were unable to stay all three nights we had booked. We were only able to stay for one night, but they wouldn't credit us back our rooms for the two nights we were unable to stay. We are Hilton honor members, so it just seemed like a lack of caring. We were also very disappointed that since we had to pay for all three nights, that our room wasn't even ready when we finally did make it after a very stressful and long trip. It would have been nice to have had at least a Hilton credit for a future stay. We also thought we would like to stay somewhat off the beaten track in Venice, but it was VERY difficult to get back and forth from the main island of Venice, on VERY confusing ferries to the hotel, and the hotel staff didn't make it any easier to understand. We stayed at other Hiltons on our trip to Italy and our experience was MUCH better...the Hilton in Sorrento knows how to do it right! Personally, I would research other properties in Venice.

BEAUTIFUL rooftop pool. Appreciated the scheduled timeslots for pool availability. Executive lounge well-staffed. Front desk and concierge were very helpful. Water taxi/bus/shuttle all very easy to manage. Breakfast was AMAZING. Lovely property. We would certainly stay again if in Venice.

Even though the building and its history is magnificent, there is more to that in what a 5 star hotel is qualified for. I had reserved a "spacious room" and they gave me a minuscule room where: a) the bed lamps didn't work; b) the bathroom small mirror was broken; c) the hair dryer didn't work; d) the safe (casse forte) didn't work. As a Hilton Honors Gold member I had a right to an upgrade but the staff denied it. After my wife heavily complained, they gave us a large room in the old section of the hotel. The weather was hot during our stay and it was hard to get asleep because of the noise made by the air conditioner. There were mosquitoes and bed bugs in the room. The last day a large wasp made it's entry. After calling nobody appeared. I had to go to the front desk twice and Giorgia was kind enough to have a service man go to the room to get rid of the insect. This hotel has no management, no ownership in the staff. Very expensive for what you get. No attempt made by management to reimburse for all these inconveniences.
