This hotel surpassed all of our expectations. Hotel location, room, breakfast, shuttle service and excellent professional check in with Nico was second to none. We honestly could not fault anything. The prosecco in our room to celebrate our anniversary was also a lovely touch. My only regret was we could not have stayed longer. Will we visit again, absolutely. Fantastic !
The hotel is beautiful and located right on guidecca island just a boat ride from the main island away from the crowds.Room was a bid old but clean and comfortable with a great view of the water and the city. Our room had access to the executive lounge, however, this opens from 12-7 .Fantastic breakfast buffet style ,fresh orange juice and great coffee.A plus service.Excellent and professional staff .Amazing views from the pool but pool doesn’t open everyday. There is a restaurant on the main floor but food is mediocre. Shuttle boat to San Marcos island is a bonus. If you are coming here from Santa Lucia train station.take the ferry that comes to guidecca island the ferry stops at the molino stucky and it’s only 15 minutes ride also inexpensive .or you can go to San Marco and take the hotel shuttle but is longer about two hours .. the Red Cross comes to your room and do the covid test very easy so you don’t have to worry about that . I love the private feeling of this location near to all but away from the madness of the city .…
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and it's location - just across the water from the main island of Venice. We arrived by water taxi and check-in was smooth - rooms were ready right away. Our rooms was bright and spacious. Our window opened to a fantastic view of the city and we woke up to the bells in San Marco square chiming every morning. You do need to take their shuttle across (book in advance) or use the water taxi a five minute walk from the hotel. Easy to navigate and a very short ride across. Venice was gorgeous. Cannot wait to return one day and we'd definitely stay here again!
Poor check in Bad communication Dated and dark room at the back of the hotel. No cold running water . Pool access if limited to 2 hours and you have to pay. We visited roof to take pictures but we're denied access. Room near the late night bar - noisy Requested change of feather duvets due to allergy and asthma. Took an hour for them to arrive , in the meantime I had an asthma attack and the members of staff said nothing.
The building which was Molino Stucky is an outstanding large building at the end of the Guidecca. The renovation to make it into a Hilton has been a diseaster- it has become a soulless big American hotel, without retaining much of its history or its role in Venetian life. My experience over 5 days at an International Bar Association conference was terrible. My wife was not able to join me so I asked for a down grade- no sir we only do upgrades ! The first 2 rooms I was shown were terrible - a connecting door which would not close noise from the next room was like being in it!! On my first night in my third room I enjoyed steaming hot water from both the hot and cold taps!! On my third night the door frame fell off the door hitting me on the head It is expensive and it is a big soulless America hotel Do not stay there…
Hilton is located in best possible location in Venice, the building and the interior are beautiful all nearby tourist locations can easily be reached and the staff are very friendly I plan to stay again in Hilton when I visit next time
This was our third time lucky visiting this hotel for our 10th wedding announcement, after two years of cancelled trips due to covid. As a diamond Hilton honours member of staff even before we arrived had emails to assure they would make the stay as special as possible, having booked a king deluxe room with a view, we were upgraded to a tower suite. WOW!! The room was incredible as were the panoramic views of Venice from it! The hotel itself is a stunning converted building, the staff could not do more to help and extremely friendly. The ferry shuttle to Venice took only 10 minutes, goes every 30 mins and always on time. Breakfast was plentiful with great variety of hot, fruit, meats, breads and coffee of your choice. The sky Lounge was fabulous with amazing cocktails and views to die for! The Executive Lounge seemed to have poor reviews on trip advisor but mostly views of the grand canal with free drinks and snacks.. what more do people want? My only even better if would be given it’s a 5* hotel, the rooms having a nesprsso machine or similar, rather than instant coffee. Wonderful stay and we will definitely be back! Thank you 😎…
Great place with tons of common space to hang and have a drink. Our room was great. And the service for breakfast, lobby bar and rooftop were all perfect. In addition, the shuttle worked seamlessly. We used it several times and never had to wait. Only thing I would mention. Is that check in and out took longer than it should have. Would highly recommend.
Our experience was amazing from the minute we stepped through the doors till the day we left. This was a first time trip to Venice for most of our family. Our rooms were beautiful with incredible views of Venice. The staff go above and beyond. The property and staff earned every bit of the 5 stars. If I could give them more I would.
Fabulous view of the canal! Service was right on time. Francesca who did our check in was extremely good. First class treatment for us trying to get 2 rooms next to each other. Boat to St Mark's was easy and timely. Terrific experience and highly recommended
