Our luxury apartments decorated in a 17th century Venetian Style with all the modern comforts are located on the top floors of the right wing of the Molino Stucky, a late 19th century art nouveau grain More mill on the Giudecca Island in Venice. Six of our apartments overlook Venice. Each of them with a unique view of the Serenissima. Their size varies from 45 to 90 square meters with high wooden ceilings, big queen size beds, spacious living rooms and bathrooms in Verona marble. We are only 10 minutes by boat from Saint Marks Square and 5 minutes from the Grand Canal. After a long and complex restoration finished in 2003, the Molino Stucky is one of the finest and most comfortable buildings in the city. We assure you that our luxury apartments and the peaceful Island of the Giudecca are the way of enjoying a relaxing holiday in Venice. This Island, just across from Saint Marks Square, has always been one of the favorite summer places of the noble Venetian families who built beautiful villas surrounded by lovely gardens and orchards, as well as churches, monasteries and convents. Some are still standing and others like the monastery of San Biagio became the Molino Stucky. Less

Giudecca is a retreat for Venetians away from the
crowds. Symbolically, six metal teeth represent
Venice’s six sestieri (districts); the seventh,
Guidecca, points away from the others – part of
Dorsoduro, but separated by the Giudecca Canal.
Giudecca evolved from a center of shipyards and
factories to a quiet residential area with a
sprinkling of restaurants and bars. The majestic

This was our fourth trip to Venice and the first time we stayed in an apartment. I found this gem by accident and I am so thankful I did! The Grandi Vedute is on the island of Guidecca across from Dorsoduro. From the island you can see a lot of Venice without being physically the

Hi everyone's, we will be there in Nov 10,2017. Travelling with one 2.5 yrs olds and a 6 months old. Got 3 full-size luggages. We will be arrived at Train station Santa Lucia. We wondering is there any porter at the train station that we can hire to help with our luggages onto the water taxi for this hotel. And which water taxi takes us to this hotel?... any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Hi. We caught the water bus from the train station and were travelling with a wheelchair. There is definitely no porter service at the train station. There are very clear instructions on their website on how to reach the hotel from the station. unfortunately the water bus stop requires you to have to walk over 2 bridges but once at the hotel they give you a pass to use the hilton shuttle that leaves directly outside the hotel and goes to San Marco at regular intervals throughout the day. the Vaparetto staff are generally pretty helpful with strollers and luggage but unfortunately the main way and the most economical way to get around is by water bus.

Whats the best way to get here from Marco Polo airport , booked it for its great reviews but think if I will struggle with a kid.
1- from Marco Polo main airport go to the little harbor (250 mt outside the terminal, at your left) where you can find the public boat “Alilaguna” which arrives after 1h40min to Giudecca Hilton nearby Hotel Hilton. We are just next door to the Hilton Hotel. 2- Outside arrival terminal bus #5 or ATVO bus to Venice Piazzale Roma – then walk to the public boat standing & catch vaporetto #2 or #4.1 to Giudecca Island & get-off at Palanca, turn right walk 200 mt cross 2 bridges, pass the Hilton entrance and we are after the Hilton square. Cost of boats tickets is euro 7,00 one person one way, Faster method by private water -taxi directly to our private landing . The cost for 2 people is euro110,00 and you will arrive in 20 min. kind regards, Luca
