I spent over 9 months planning a ‘foodie’ trip to Venice and needed a decent priced ‘room with a view’.
All I can say is WOW. The tribute to music residenza is a simple, unfussy, friendly hotel, with a view to match the ridiculously and overpriced establishments a few minutes walk away.
It doesn’t have butlers, men in smart suits, 24 hour room service, but what is has in buckets, is charm, character, comfort and is, most certainly a perfect base for exploring ALL of Venice from the nearby Arsenale Water Bus Stop.
My needs are simple. A clean room, bathroom, LOCAL breakfast, not a fry up thank-you as I am in Venice and that’s just not right.
Breakfast is delivered daily, selected from a double sided list of goodies. The basic offering is Croissant, Bread, Butter and assorted spreads. Further options include cheese, various hams, juice and much much more, you won’t feel hungry, before you depart for your days adventure.
There is a room safe to store small valuables, storage for your clothes, a spotless bathroom with shower, hairdryer etc.
I had a delightful stay in this lovely little hotel, with a stunning view, friendly and helpful staff and a lovely breakfast delivered fresh every morning.

The hotel is placed 5 walking minutes from piazza san marco and our room had an amazing view. It was clean and had a good AC. Also breakfast was send to our room every morning at the time we liked (due to covid the breakfast room was closed). We got a key and could enter the hotel when ever we wanted.

Stayed at A Tribute To Music on 17th-20th December 2019 as an early Christmas present from my partner. It’s a little difficult to find but it is so worth it for the view! From the minute we walked in, the man on the reception desk (didn’t catch his name but he was absolutely amazing! was so helpful, gave us a map and marked off his suggestions for restaurants, attractions and the easiest way to get around. All of the staff spoke impeccable English, I cannot fault the staff they were superb. We stayed in the Madonna room which was always clean, fresh towels, toilet roll etc. So easy to check in and check out. Staff were available 24/7. Breakfast was basic but enough and lovely. Ham, cheese, yoghurts, croissants, toast etc. An absolute bargain for this little gem in the heart of Venice. Thank you for a lovely stay!

A one night stay in this centrally located hotel facing the Venice lagoon. We stayed in the "Tribute to Elvis" family room which was fine for a 3-adult family. Bathroom good, although the ventilation fan takes 1m or so to switch off and is quite noisy. Front office staff very helpful. We did not eat on-site.

The location of this hotel is exceptional! Right on the lagoon with amazing views. The reception staff are very friendly and eager to help you, and the hotel is also clean with fresh bedding and towels provided. However, the hotel generally needs some money spending on it to bring it back to a good standard. The decor and carpets, etc, whilst clean, are tired and damaged, including chipped tiles, stained carpets and missing lampshades in some areas. Also, the breakfast set up isn’t ideal, and the staff overseeing breakfast’s are rude and abrupt.

The hotel has a very nice location. It is located directly by the jetties, and if you have booked a room overlooking the sea, you can very well watch the ships arriving and departing.
Breakfast is also a disaster by Italian standards. It is served in the room. There are only hard-boiling eggs. My pancake was always cold. On the last day I didn't get this one anymore. The orange juice was a multivitamin juice. Neither of us drink it.
The carpeting in the room has several folds. You had to be careful not to trip. He is also old and worn out. It's not contemporary anymore. In another city like Venice, you couldn't rent a room like this anymore.
Staff at reception were friendly.

A beautiful typical Venetian property, spotlessly clean. The view from our room overlooked the lagoon. Fantastic location close to st marks square and not far from lots of beautiful restaurants and bars. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was good with a selection of fruits, pastries, yoghurt etc.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly. We had a very clean superior room with a view of the lagoon which was breathtaking. Breakfast is served in your room which was nice (try the pancakes!). Only downside is the shower water is cold no matter how hot you try to make it! Reception is 7am to 11pm which is good to know if you have a very early check out.

If you’re unsure on somewhere to book, look no further!!
My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights and there isn’t anything we would change about the whole experience.
The staff were all so friendly, they had helped my Mum organise a bottle of Prosecco to be left in our room which was kind of them, they gave us a map and just generally made us feel so welcome.
The hotel decor was slightly dated but this is by no means a negative as it was all extremely clean and comfortable.
We had the most incredible view from our window and the location couldn’t of been any better.
Would not hesitate in booking here for our next stay!

Really friendly and helpful staff, really clean rooms and excellent breakfast! For photography lovers, it is located in a strategic point for the best sunrises and sunsets and is close to the city's attractions! If I were to return to Venice, I would definitely come back here!
