This hotel is located on a street close to the San Samuelle vaporetto stop. On the plus side, it is very clean, nicely appointed with lots of snacks and drinks included in the room. This "hotel" is run more like a remote Airbnb with no onsite presence to help with anything outside of the morning breakfast. This was very disappointing. Also beware that there is no elevator in the building, so you will be climbing steep stairs with your luggage. The breakfast is very subpar. Don't order the rolls - save your teeth the damage. There is a lot of street noise that is audible in the rooms as well. I'd recommend another option for your stay in Venice.
A picturesque hotel in the heart of Venice, with attention to detail regarding customer service & hygiene. The breakfast (both provided in the room & fresh daily) was plentiful & replenished often, housekeeping was prompt & efficient. Hosts were polite & easily accessible via WhatsApp if not on hotel site. A key code individual to your room instead of a key to lose was a more secure option than most hotels. Location/transfers: an easy 5 min walk to Sant’Angelo water boat stop, servicing both Alilaguna & Actv lines to train station & airport. Rooms were spacious & quiet, away from the bustling Venice streets. We were in Liberty room which we found very comfortable. Note: no lift though, so be prepared to carry luggage! All in all, highly recommended for a short city break!
This beautiful boutique hotel has very large bedrooms and is decorated in an art deco style, our room was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent considering the current COVID situation. Breakfast served in bedroom was a nice touch. Location of hotel is great for getting around to all attractions and restaurants, nearest water taxi stop less than 2 minutes away. I would definitely recommend a stay here if visiting Venice.
Ca dell'Arte features themed rooms that may be a bit overdone for some. We stayed in the "Belle Epoque" one, and boy was it kitsch. Still, the bed was comfortable, and the room had a nice studio where one could sit and read or write. There is no personnel on the premises, except for someone who speaks poor Italian and serves you breakfast (not always getting the order, which needs to be written down the night before, right). Nevertheless, it is very close to two vaporetto stops and only a few minutes walk from both the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
Not easy to find the first time, but lovely to stay in. Service was cool and casual, while the place is decked out in art, so it can seem gaudy, but it's fun. Our room was large and comfortable and there were plenty of snacks to keep us fueled. We didn't spend too much time in the hotel because we wanted to maximize our time in this unique city, but we definitely enjoyed it.
The pictures on the website do not reflect true beauty of the decor of this great little B&B. The minute I entered the building it was jaw dropping experience. Very tasteful decor, with Murano glass chandeliers and mirrors. Room was very specious, big enough to do my morning yoga. Bed was super comfy, I felt like a quinn sleeping in it ;) Location is excellent too, very close to San Marco square. Staff was helpful.
We stayed at Cà Dell’ Arte for 3 nights and were over the moon with our big beautiful room and the cleanliness. As with most hotels in Venice, room size can be abit on the small size but we found that Cà Dell’ Arte had bigger than average rooms with lovely modern touches. The location is fantastic, 5 min walk from San Samuele Vaporetto stop and a 10 minute walk from San Marco Sq and Rialto. The host of the B&B couldn't of been more helpful, kind and attentive. We would definitely return to Cà Dell’ Arte.
We booked a hotel room for the carnival dates about a year in advance with the option of cancellation at a reasonable price. After about half a year the prices of rooms in the hotel went up a lot. A few months later the hotel canceled the room reservation for a reason that they could not charge a credit card. The issue was checked with the credit company and it was found that everything was fine and no debit attempt was made. We planned a trip with a couple of friends to whom the hotel did the same. Clearly the issue in front of the hotel was answered that there are no rooms available and they can do nothing. Do not approach this hotel.
We stayed here for my birthday and it was a very beautiful room with the bed in a loft. It a lot of charm and was decorated beautifully. It was a very fun and unique experience just like Venice. We were there November 13th when Venice flooded but still had a nice time.
