Very beautifull hotel in center of Venice near Rialto and San Marco square, nice service staff in particular an hispanic girl very simpatic and pleasant, she met all our requests. Very simpatic, profesional and pleasant also receptionist.
We stayed at the Palazzo Viturri in early April 2022. We had originally booked for March 2020. Throughout the last 2 years the hotel has been amazing in keeping us up to date and rearranging bookings when our plans had to be cancelled 3 times thanks to travel restrictions. Our experience at the hotel didn’t disappoint. Located in a small square about 5 mins walk from St. Marks Square and Rialto Bridge in the other direction. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We had a room on the second floor at the back of the hotel which was lovely and quiet. Breakfast is ample and set us up for a day exploring Venice. If you’re looking for a nice hotel in a good location then this is a great choice. It’s also close to the stops of Rialto and Ospedale vaperetto stops which have services to the airport.…
Highly recommend this hotel. Stayed for 3 nights and booked directly with the hotel. Kept an eye on their site and upgraded my room prior to arrival paying very little extra. Prior to arrival the team proved to be extremely helpful in terms of providing details in relation to the options around transfers. Checkin was fast and assistance was readily provided with luggage. The reception team are so professional and really can’t do enough to help. The upgraded room was excellent (Superior). I can only imagine the Junior suite and suite!! Reading other reviews I noted mixed opinions in respect of breakfast but the offering proved to be ample. The team who worked at breakfast were friendly and happy to help. Location wise - not far from St Marks Square and Rialto. Allow yourself to get lost in the streets that surround this hotel. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and I am looking forward to a return visit.…
Wonderful location. Not far to St Mark’s. Beautiful square, lively but not loud or too crowded. Great restaurant next door and also a bar. Staff was excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Front desk and breakfast staff could not be more accommodating. Room was spacious and well furnished. Breakfast was altered for Covid but was still substantial and delicious. Lovely old building. Would certainly return here.
Excellent small hotel in a historic Building (my favorite ones with the arabesque windows) in the beautiful Santa Maria Formosa Square. The main balconies of the hotel overlooking the Square are open to all residents so perfect for an aperitivo. The Square Is beautiful and the location Is strategic - 5 mins to Piazza San Marco and less than 10 to Ponte Rialto. Lots of originale layout and decor in the hotel, giving you a step into the past- immensely high ceilings! Very comfortable and huge room with an enormous, very comfortable bed. Absolutely loved It. Staff could not be more helpful and always smiling. An excellent stay and would recommend It. Just be aware of the stairs to each the upper floors but they do have a lift for wheelchairs/where needed.
