we recently stayed at DD724 and found it a perfect place to stay while in Venice. The room (B) was spacious, especially for such a small property. The personally prepared breakfast every day was a treat. The staff could not have been more helpful with their very personal service. They arranged transportation and recommended a wonderful guide. It is located in a very pleasant neighborhood with some excellent cafes nearby. Tom K
We had a good large room overlooking canal but also overlooking a busy bar which can be bit noisy. Friendly helpful staff serve breakfast in room or small breakfast room. Lots of Art books to read. A bottle of water each day would be nice...not just day one. Good location . Really a b and b with 24 hour staff.
My wife and I spent 5 nights at this lovely small hotel in Dorsoduro, a quiet neighborhood across the Grand Canal with restaurants and shops. The room was nicely and stylishly appointed and included breakfast. The small staff was friendly and extremely attentive. Special thanks to Silvia and Tania. They helped make our stay especially comfortable and enjoyable. We will defintely go back next time.
Friendly staff and a great location away from the centre (and the crowds) but only a short walk to the main attractions (and everywhere is walkable in Venice). Nicely decorated rooms, larger than I was expecting, and ours had a canal view.
We have just returned from a stay at DD724, in a suite annex. To be honest, the hotel made our holiday, Silvia helped us before we traveled with all the Covid requirements, arranged water taxis, recommended and reserved restaurants for us, remembered all our faves for breakfast and generally went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble. The suite annex is situated a few hundred yards from the main reception, but felt as though we had our own Venetian appartement! Perfectly located, with the corner pub next door to pop into to make you feel like a local, and plenty of restaurants nearby, and St Marks Square is an easy stroll! They even walked us to our water taxi to wave goodbye. 5+ stars. Grazie mille DD724!
Our stay at DD724 was perfect and we are looking forwards to returning soonest. It could not have been more perfect as a location, but what we truly appreciated was the quality of the linens and amenities We know that the choice of this can only come from a true passion for hospitality and know-how and constant sourcing. Breakfast was simple but superb, it was a bouquet of joy and a perfect start to your day and the freshness was impeccable. Discreet but flawless service at the front desk. and unspoiled addresses to share with their guests, that are off the beaten track and very similar to the ethos of DD724 , a true soul of perfect hospitality. Thank you .
We LOVED staying at the charming house during our recent visit to Venice. The location was fantastic and then room was excellent. The breakfast was superb, while the buffet was not in operation due to COVID they gave us fantastic table service with everything we could have possibly wanted for breakfast, and some things we didn't even know we wanted! Also the coffee drinks (cappuccinos) that we enjoyed during our breakfasts were divine. We highly recommend charming house for anyone looking for a fantastic experience in a great location in Venice
This hotel was our base for a visit to Venice this November. It was super cozy. Our room, 624, though a step away from the Peggy Guggenheim presented a quiet and comfortable resting place after walking Venice. Boat services to all locations are near but we soon found out that it is more fun walking everywhere in the St Marco and surrounding area. Just get over the Accademia Bridge 5 mins away and the attractions are there. Dorsoduro itself has more besides the galleries. Tania arranges our taxi transfer and made great recommendations for restaurants, besides being generally charming and helpful Great Hotel highly recommended. We would certainly go back there again. Thank you.
We stayed at DD724 for 2 nights in the suite (Room E). We are a family of 3 and it was perfect! The suite was very comfortable, clean, cozy and well decorated. Internet was very high speed (I took a couple of Zoom calls and no issues). Location is perfect - situated in a very central location in Dorsodoro, with plenty of restaurants, bars and even a supermarket very close by. We walked to Rialto and San Marco Square very easily from here. Loved the artsy neighbourhood - we were away from the touristy areas and felt like locals! And last but not least, the service was amazing! Sylvia was so hospitable and provided us great local recommendations (loved Ai Cugnai, a local Venetian trattoria specializing in seafood)! Breakfast was delicious - we got pastries, fresh fruit, coffee and juice. Would HIGHLY recommend! We will definitely be coming back!!…
Spent a long weekend at the DD724, located incredibly well in Venice, the hotel staff has been incredibly helpful before (booking our water taxi, etc.) and during the stay, recommended us perfectly and served us impeccably. The rooms and the interior design are very nice and enjoyable. I would highly reccomend it.
