A beautiful old Palazzo hotel in a great location, with friendly and helpful staff. The non-suite rooms are quite small (as stated by the hotel themselves) but very stylish with all mod cons needed. Excellent free breakfast available to set you up for a day...More

We stayed at this enchanted Palazzo for 4 nights during the Carnival of 2015. Excellent location, very near the Rialto bridge and the vapporetto. Excellent breakfast. The staff is very friendly and answered all our questions and gave us advises from their own. We will...More

This atmospheric old Palazzo is both beautiful and incredibly welcoming. It is a real haven of peace and quiet too, with its own courtyard garden. It's very well located, very close to the Ca' D'Or vaporetto (water bus) stop on the Grand Canal, and also...More

The hotel offers great location (5 mins walk from Rialto bridge and still away from the tourists frenzy) and has a quaint decoration, truly making you feel like you're in a palazzetto from the 18th century. Our bed was a bit uncomfortable (two single beds...More

It was my third visit to Venice, and the stay at Hotel Palazzo Abadessa concluded and ensured the impression of Venice for the first time and for the future visit. Will definitely revisit this place again. Stayed at room no.22, which was a maisonette style...More

Sadly we did not see any lifts. We were on the first floor which was accessed by a large wide double staircase which was not a difficult climb. I do believe however there may have been some rooms on ground level.
