We had an extremely comfortable stay in this beautiful boutique hotel. Gorgeous breakfast, friendly staff, lovely room and a great location. We couldn't have asked for more and would definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip to Venice.
We stayed for 3 nights at Novecento and loved it. It is a small (9 rooms) boutique hotel with interesting antique décor, quite eclectic! The staff are very friendly and helpful. They booked us into St Marks Basillica to skip the line (which was very...More
Horrible place with horrible staff and horrible decoration! Also, extremely expensive! I would never recommend this little hotel in central location. I rather be a little far away but with nice surroundings. I've been so many times in Venice and have to say that this...More
We stayed for two nights at the delightful Novecento for a child-free getaway in Venice. We booked via their own website as that seemed to offer the best prices. The staff were extremely lovely and more than helpful with recommending restaurants / bars and they...More
This is one of my favorite boutique hotels in Venice for a number of reasons - first, it's right across the Grand Canal from the Peggy Guggenheim Museum and very centrally located with easy access to the water taxi. Even though it is a small...More
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.

It is close enough to the train station and very close to the main sites. Our stepson is staying there in December for one night I think because we recommend it as central. Novice to is about five to 10 minutes from the Rialto, St Marks Square etc. Remember to use the vaporettos as much as possible - it makes all the difference. And enjoy

I sent an email to the hotel on your behalf... I shared a link to your TripAdvisor post. I would have included the email address in my reply but TripAdvisor won't allow it. The hotel staff was very responsive when I traveled. I'm optimistic that they will offer some guidance soon.
