We’ve just returned from a 2 night stay at this gorgeous property. It’s in a great location, just a few minutes walk from St Mark’s Square, and lots of lovely restaurants and bars. Overlooking a canal. Really easy to find via the instructions on the website ;we got the vaporetto from Treviso. We stayed in the two bedroom property, which was lovely and spacious. Both bedrooms were really big, and wonderfully well equipped (tea and coffee, towels, toiletries, a hairdryer). The lounge / kitchen was massive, with gorgeous views over the canal. And it had a terrace off one of the bedrooms, which was just fabulous. Maria Elisabetta, the host, was so helpful and hospitable. Answering a few questions I had beforehand, and during our trip. I’d definitely recommend this property and would stay again if (when!) I return to Venice.…
Gorgeous accommodation in the centre of Venice, we had the top floor suite with the terrace overlooking the canal and it was just beautiful. I found most of the other accommodations I looked at very chintzy (which I do appreciate is the Venetian way) but this was more subtlety decorated and a restful home after our long days exploring the city. Lovely hostess who went the extra mile to check we were okay and if we needed anything. You could pay a lot more and get a lot less in Venice, we would definitely stay again.
Great accommodation in the heart of Venice. Our room was very big and even included an extra bedroom. There was a rooftop terrace overlooking a canal which was a real highlight. A perfect place to drink a bottle of Italian wine. Finally, the hostess was super friendly and accommodating, helping us with recommendations for things to see and restaurants to visit. This property is an ideal for a stay in Venice!
I felt in love with this Bnb two years ago . Elisabetta is for sure the best part of it - she welcomes you smiling and offering a perfect service . We loved the Artist’s room with its pavimento alla veneziana and the view of the canal . It’s well managed ed and well kept with all you need. Location is great , far enough from the tourist crowds but still very central . Breakfast was offered to us in the room even if not paid . No complaints just come here and enjoy the place at Osmarin !
If I could give zero stars, I would. The room was in a fine location but the room was somewhat shabby and needed some repairs. After providing my review through Booking.com, I received irate, insulting, unprofessional texts from the owner despite my asking her repeatedly to stop.
Lovely woman running a family house with two apartments and one room. We had the room with the terrace and we though it was worth the extra price. Close to San Marco, but still quiet. Very beautiful and cozy place. She had also left breakfast for us, though it was not included.
We were lucky enough to stay at this hotel in July and loved the experience! Maria Elisabetta was a great host and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and at home. We were in the room on the top floor and had a private balcony overlooking the canal. It’s a beautiful view and nice way to start and end the day. If you get the chance book this hotel! We will be back some day!!
Stayed here for one night with children. Having so much space is an amazing thing in a city like Venice. The recommendations for places to eat were spot on for a proper Venice experience, rather than generic tourist food. It feels like you're staying in an authentic apartment with an authentic Italian on tap for tips of where to go and what to do. If you can find it, this place is the perfect spot for an amazing stay in Venice.
We stayed at Residenza l'Osmarin for 2 nights. It is ideally situated, only a few minutes walk from St. Mark's Square, surrounded by many good quality bars and restaurants. Elisabetta, our host was extremely helpful and welcoming, speaks excellent good English. She recommended a lovely local guide,Iole,to help us discover the parts of Venice we wanted to visit in a personalised tour. We would recommend anyone coming to Venice to stay here,we chose the top floor apartment with air conditioning and private roof terrace with charming views over a little canal. There is also a sunny breakfast terrace where you can enjoy a generous start to your day
My little daughter an I had an amazing weekend in the Residenza l‘Osmarin. The hotel is just perfectly located to explore the island and the rooms were super well equipped and nicely decorated. The breakfast which was served by Lorenzo was super delicious and way beyond Italian standard. Lorenzo was also very helpful with recommending walks suitable for little kids and came up with some great and non-touristic restaurant tips. We’ll definitely come back!! 😊
