I highly recommend this place. Nothing fancy, but do you need more a clean a quiet room its just what need after a long day of visiting. Excellent continental breakfast. Such nice and friendly staff. A 10 minute walk to all attractions.
We slept there for 1 night.About 12 min walk from train station. It was the cheapest hotel we found.it was a little bit difficult to find it with no gps no many signs but you are in venice. It is really small hotel no lift....More

Hotel is 5-10 minutes walk from the train station so it was an ideal location for us.
We dealt with two different women at the hotel and they were both lovely and friendly....More

Santa Croce gained importance as a sestiere (district) when Piazzale Roma was created in the 1930s to bring cars and buses close to the center of Venice. Constitution Bridge spans the Grand Canal linking Piazzale Roma to the train station. This area buzzes with energy from travelers and students. universities. On the Fondaco dei Turchi, Venice's Museum of Natural History offers Venetians prehistoric thrills, plus an overview of lagoon fish and wildlife. The Grand Canal, northern boundary of Santa Croce, is lined with palaces and decorated by the tall green dome of San Simeon Piccolo. Ca' Pesaro attracts Venetians to its contemporary art exhibitions. The Grand Canal exposes only one face of these buildings. On the opposite side, the palace often interacts with a square or a busy street to represent its neighbourhood identity.
