The St. Regis Venice was absolutely fabulous from the moment we walked through the doors. The staff is warm, welcoming, and offer top-notch service. The property is beautiful and the room amenities are excellent. The view from the back (water front) side of the property is simply stunning. I highly recommend this property! *Transportation tip: If you're unfamiliar with the area, I strongly suggest utilizing the hotel's water taxi service, to get to and from the property, especially if you have a lot of luggage. The convenience was well worth the cost, time, and headache that you'll save!
The St Regis Venice is 5 stars all the way. Beautiful hotel with modern, comfortable fully appointed rooms, private dock, incredible restaurant, two world class bars, Spa and Exercise room. It’s centrally located and you’d be hard pressed to find a better canal view. We had a few minor issues in our suite at the beginning of our stay, but we had a conversation with the head assistant butler, Maria Cristina and she worked everything out quickly, efficiently and with great attention to detail. The service Maria Cristina provided us was nothing short of spectacular! The concierge team is world class as well. Anything you need, they can guide you. Don’t try to do it all on your own. They have great recommendations. I can’t say enough about the St Regis Venice! I highly recommend you book a suite and stay soon!…
This is usually a 5 star hotel, but this time with a smelly garbage dock with continuous traffic of garbage boats in front of the hotel. This takes away all the charm from the exquisite view, you can not simply stay there.
We have just returned from a stay at the St Regis. What a stunning hotel, on first impressions the reception area smells amazing and oozes style and sophistication. We were lucky enough to be upgraded by lovely Melania to room 4318, the room was stunning and ultra modern, the bathroom is to die for with heated tiles and plush decor and a shower large enough for a family. This is luxury. The breakfast was lovely and relaxing with plenty of choice of food and drink, including Prosecco and champagne which we enjoyed by the impressive grand canal view. All staff were lovely and helpful and could not do enough for you. We also enjoyed the evening turn down service. A true luxury hotel in the heart of Venice, we would love to return one day.
I can't say enough good things about this hotel, the location is fantastic for the closeness to St Marks square but also the views over the Grand Canal and into the bay. The service we received from the restaurant staff and the concierge was excellent. What was amazing was the trip to the Berengo glass studio on Murano, arranged by the concierge at the hotel with complimentary water taxis both ways. An amazing experience and some beautiful glass pieces to indulge in and acquire if the mood takes you. Our room had a large terrace (15sqm) overlooking the grand canal and the basilica directly opposite to the hotel. We ate breakfast here one day, quite magical, we also ate breakfast and lunch in the hotel restaurant which is situated right on the grand canal with again views to die for. The easiest trip to an airport that I've ever had ended our trip, as we got up from lunch by the grand canal, the hotel pier manager summoned the water taxi, who promptly deposited us in the heart of the airport. We will be back.…
