My husband and I stayed here in March and had the best time! We got a private water taxi from the airport, which docked right outside the hotel. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and the concierge team went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. They took the time to suggest places to visit and eat/drink and showed us on the map. Breakfast service was excellent with a wide range of food and drink. The concierge team informed us when the weather was going to be bad and provided us with umbrellas. The rooms were spotless and well appointed, especially the lovely marble bathroom. The best thing about the hotel is it’s fantastic location and complimentary boat ride and tour of the glass factory on Murano. What an unexpected and brilliant experience! 10/10 stay!

The situation of this hotel could hardly be bettered. Two minutes walk to St Mark's Sq;20 seconds to a gondola ferry or waterbus, and still surprisingly peaceful. The staff on the front desk and concierge are very helpful and attentive. The terrace overlooks the Grand Canal and La Salute church and even in March it was a pleasure to breakfast outside.The breakfast buffet was very good. The menu for dinner was gourmet style in presentation and priced a bit beyond our league so we ate out, but it did look interesting. Our room was well equipped but small, (the beds too)and we could not get the temperature down to a comfortable level. All in all an ideal situation and a pleasant stay.

This hotel is fantastic, the watertaxi drops you off at the entrance where you will be welcomed by the friendly and help full staff. The location is perfect next to San Marco square, Gondolas in front of the hotel and al the luxury brand stores are around the corner. The rooms are in beautiful venetian style, good firm beds and a great marble bathroom. Breakfast is standard but very good and the view from the terrace is amazing.

I had to write a review to say how fantastic our stay was at Monaco and grand canal hotel it was one of the loveliest hotels iv stayed in the staff was amazing so helpful making us feel very welcome The room was a upgrade which had a lovely terrace we were very lucky as weather so good we were able to use it. I must complement your housekeeping our room was cleaned to a high standard every day and loved the turn down at night All at reception were so helpful as were the bar staff too you made our stay very special

The location of the Hotel is excellent and within a five minute walk of St Mark’s square. The water taxi is literally on the doorstep and so convenient. We had a wonderful 4 night stay, in beautiful surroundings, with excellent staff, and situated on the water. Dining on the terrace in the morning, watching the “commute” was fascinating, and having an aperitif at dusk, was magical. It was a wonderful vacation and we would return in a heartbeat.
