Great little B&B in San Marco area. Easy to get to by vaparetto 5.1 from the train station. Fabio and Elenora were great hosts and offered the best advice on what to see and where to eat. We were a family of four and the room was large enough to accomodate our needs.

The location is near the center, in a quiet area. The staff are great and the conditions are at least 4*. The breakfast is also great. We visited Venice 2 times and we stayed at 3C both times. We recommend!

This was my second visit to 3C, and once again everything was perfect. Ideal location; even though it's only a few minutes from St Mark's, it's a haven of peace and quiet. Lovely accommodation; spotless and welcoming and charming hosts. Can't wait to go back.

We had a lovely clean air conditioned family room. The location of 3C was excellent, close to everything. Our host was most helpful explaining where to go and answering our many questions. Breakfast was very nice, we had a lovely stay.

The location is ideal; the room was faultless (spatious with all the amenities of a 5-star hotel, extremely clean, quiet and comfy); good breakfast; and the hosts were very welcoming and gave us great tips about restaurants, transports, etc. We'll definitely stay at 3C B&B when we come back to Venice!

Stayed in mid 2014, the hosts were gracious and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were big, ours had a cute little balcony and everything was very clean. It was slightly difficult to find, but if you do your research before hand you won't have any problems. Would recommend!

The alley way leading to this fantastic B&B was not impressive, and the gate can almost be overlooked, but once you are through the gate into the secluded walk and the few steps to the door the change is clear. The greeting was friendly and very welcoming and they could not have been more helpful. Suggestions for lunches and dinners,...

This is a gorgeous B&B right in the heart of San Marco. The owners are extremely helpful in providing information on sights and good restaurants. The rooms have been renovated beautifully to allow for modern amenities with classic Venetian touches. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

The 3C is a great B&B and close to everything. It's a couple of minutes walk from the boat docks and less than five minutes to St. Mark's Square. We arrived late and Fabio waited for us. He was very pleasant and provided tons of information. We took his advice on several restaurants and were not disappointed. The rooms were...

Staying in Castello

Neighbourhood Profile
Castello
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.
