Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I hate to generalize but it seems this beautiful country Italy is becoming more racist everyday. I would not recommend this hotel as I had the most unpleasant experience. I'm black with an Irish passport and Italian resident. A friend recommended this hotel. He initially went there to book a room for me, he was told the hotel is closed. I was surprised to see it's possible to book on booking.com. I called and they said they had rooms but I have to pay for the 6nights at check in. I agreed, when I arrived the moment the lady saw a black woman, she started screaming'chiuso' 'closed' I tried to explain that I just called, but it made th8ngs worse, another lady came out and said it was a mistake. I dialed her number while I was talking to her and she hung up and kept denying they said they had rooms. It's really sad , even if they've had bad experiences. You can not judge all blacks to be the same as I can't say all Italians are racist.

Very glad that my wife and I stayed in this hotel during our stay in Treviso. The rooms were spotlessly clean, beds were comfortable and the owner operators were most accommodating. Their breakfast was the perfect way to begin the day. Location was quiet and easy to get to downtown and the train station for a day trip to Venice.

We stayed at the mezzaluna to watch the rugby, It's a 10 min walk to the stadium. We were 5 couples and Paulo and his staff were all very friendly and helpful and went out of their way for us, even got up to do breakfast for us so we had food before we left at 515 AM. The rooms were clean tidy as were all the public areas.

Lovely family run hotel. We had a triple room for my husband and I and our teenage son who were visiting for the rugby last weekend. The room had everything we needed including charging points by the bed (no need for travel adapters), the bed was comfy and the room, and the hotel in general, was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed an excellent continental breakfast both mornings. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a residential area about 15 mins walk to Benetton’s stadium and 30 mins walk to the centre of town. Or you can take the bus which runs from near the hotel to town. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for a quiet family run hotel, spotlessly clean, friendly staff then this is the place. The rooms are spacious, well lit, the bed very comfortable. The buffet breakfast is excellent. 10 mins to the airport, a walk but probably a cab into town. This hotel is nice relaxing and very good value. A perfect location if you are going to Benetton Rugby, its about a 15 minute walk, with plenty of bars on roue.

We stayed here on the weekend in Sept 2018 when Cardiff Blues played Treviso. Superbly clean rooms with immaculate linen on the beds. Compact rooms but have everything you need including USB ports by the side of the bed and sky tv. Breakfast was just great - boiled eggs, cold meats, fresh bread, warm pastries, fruit and cereals. Couldn’t fault it. Great value. This is a family run (Brigitte and Paulo and Francesca) Hotel with 12 bedrooms. We booked direct and had a great deal. Would definitely recommend.

What a lovely hotel The staff were great always helpful. The room clean with everything you need except for tea making facilities. The breakfast was continental plus scrambled eggs and bacon. We were able to walk to the centre in 20 minutes. No complaints and the price was good.

After staying here for a long weekend, Mezzaluna is perfect for families/couples/business located just outside centre of Treviso. Hotel was really clean and modern and towels replaced when needed. Breakfast offered selection which included things like breads, yogurts, cheese/salami. Stayed here for Rugby, close to ground within walking distance however if wanted to visit town it is short 5 minute drive away. Would highly recommend if coming for rugby however it is slightly out of town but in a pleasant quiet area. Town has lots of offer with restaurants and a fair few shops. Venice is approximately an hours drive/train is possible to catch.

We stayed here whilst attending a rugby match as the stadium is located close by. Easy parking, friendly staff, and a thirty minute walk into town, or buses close to the property. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfy. Highly recommended 😀
