The owners are very helpful! They told me the house was older than the church. They have roman archeological remainings covered with a glass we step on. Very clean and comfortable. All rooms are different. Nice breakfast!

The first thing I can say is that San Nicolo does not deserve it's 3* rating, from the offset, our experience was very good in the hotel, whilst it benefitted from many modern amenities and strong interior design. The family owners were very helpful with everything and also very accommodating, the rooms, individually designed, were a very nice touch whilst... More

Dear Customer, thank you for your review. We have advised on the phone a week before we could not do the last breakfast (why the painting of the breakfast room). Apologize for the inconvenience we have given a Junior Suite at the same rate for a superior room and you didn't pay the cot of your baby. Remember: we can... More

Hotel San Nicolo is in a league of its own. Each room has a unique decor of a specific place or time - the rooms have no numbers; there are paintings outside the room depicting the locale. For example, my room was New York and a scene of the metropolis was the identifier. The room was small, but space was... More

nice place, a very well located historical building, with parking facilities. Tasteful rooms, each with its character, a bit small but clean and tidy. No frigo bar but kettle with complimentary teas and nescafe. Having a shower is a bit of an adventure, since it takes some time to understand how the water system works, the towels then are quite... We thank the dear customers for their review. We communicate that in Italy in Treviso we can not open a bed and breakfast with 10 rooms but only 3 rooms. This is our law. A 3-star hotel is not obliged to keep the fridge full of drinks but we offer free water and tea/coffee maker. A request at check in... More

We spent 3 nights here last week and would not dream of looking anywhere else next time we are in Treviso. Lovely hosts, great rooms and a perfect location near the town centre but a short walk from the railway station. Will return

My wife and I have just returned from a one week stay at this charming hotel. Can't recommend it highly enough! Beautifully furnished by the owners, who live on site and run an excellent coffee-bar downstairs (where, incidentally, hotel guests take breakfast). We had the African-themed Nairobi room which was a great choice. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the owners... More

Stayed at the hotel last weekend , 6 friends for birthday celebration. Have been many times to Treviso but this was the best place to stay. The house is their home and it shows, beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. All the rooms have different themes, we stayed in Paris but were able to look at 6... More

We stayed in the African room, decorated with batiks and statues. It was lovely. Friends had the New York room and the friendly owner showed us a couple of other rooms. All have been decorated with charm and flair. I'd recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay at this B & B. We had the African room which was nicely furnished and with a nice bathroom. While not spacious it was very comfortable and I am happy to recommend it. The owner was pleasant and helped with recommendations for dinner and site seeing.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Relais & Cafè San Nicolò is situated in a period residence housing Roman and medieval ruins, in the heart of the Treviso historical centre, opposite the monumental of the San Nicolò Temple, only 18 km from Venice. The inspiration for this Treviso hotel - B&B is drawn from the experiences of a traveller who, after much wandering, has been able to fulfil his desire of evoking the feelings and emotions experienced throughout the word in others. In fact, all of this hotel - B&B rooms, placed in the context of a centrally situated Venetian villa, have different themes aimed at recounting his experiences both as a hotelier and traveller. It's an exciting feeling being able to jump from one continent to another or from one era to another by simply crossing a corridor and opening the door of a room. All of this takes place in a unique environment where art, culture and "joie de vivre" are the main features of the vibrant city of Treviso. ... more   less
