Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Having stayed in the Dolimites for a week we needed a hotel near to Venice airport ready for our return home. This hotel is perfect. It is a definately a hidden gem. Our room was beautifully designed and spacious. Great shower which is something I always comment on! There was a well stocked minibar, though we didnt use it. We took breakfast on the terrace, where there was a beautiful smell from the Jasmine plant. We were spoilt for choice at breakfast...fresh croissants, pancakes, many jams/spreads, hams, fruit salad etc The owners spoke excellent english and were very accomodating. I can highly recommend the Ice cream parlour attached to the hotel and based on the number of locals in, it obviously has an excellent reputation. Treviso centre is approx 15min walk and is a great place to walk around with canals and piazzas, lots of street cafes. There was also a bus stop close to the hotel. Free parking is available at the side of the property We will definately return here when we return to Italy.

I love this hotel and I wish I could have stayed longer! The space is beautiful and very well curated, super clean and comfortable. very quiet at night. Everyone is very warm and friendly and they make you feel at home. My favorite was breakfast in the balcony. They have a great selection of fresh food and the best coffee. I highly recommend this hotel in this beautiful town!!

We found this small hotel north of the city of Treviso to be a great value. Staff was wonderful, included breakfast was quite varied and delicious, rooms were very clean. Super value for the price and some family style restaurants nearby. Highly recommend if your travels take you north a short drive from Venice.

Hotel Rovere is family run but run professionally. The hotel is a super clean, the service is nothing but excellent and friendly. We highly recommend this place. Location is great. We stayed here and visited Venice, Verona and Padova. The hotel is close to the centre, 10 min by car from the airport and train station.

We decided to move closer to the airport and took the last room in the hotel. I was initially concerned that the noise from the road would disturb my sleep but this didn’t happen as very little traffic through the night. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of fresh fruit as well as the usual museli and breads with a collation of fresh grilled vegetables to go with the cheeses and ham. A good stop very close to the old town.

We stayed here our first night in Treviso. We were collected from the airport by their shuttle bus, which was €15, much cheaper than a taxi. The girls at the desk couldn't be more helpful. It was really hot that day and the AC in the hotel is a dream. We stayed in the junior suite and it is designed very stylishly, beautiful bathroom with fantastic shower. Breakfast is good and there is a choice of cooked to order eggs along with the continental choice.

Dear Guest, thank You for taking the time to leave a review! We are really happy to read such nice words about our hotel and our service! We always try to do our best to ensure a pleasant stay to all our Guests, and we think it is even more important to offer an healthy and energizing breakfast for those who take part at the local Parkrun. As You've pointed out, Treviso Parkrun starts only a couple of kilometers from our hotel, and it takes place in a beautiful natural setting. We hope to meet You again in future, maybe for another Parkrun event! Ciao!

This was the last night of our tour of the Dolomites and a handy distance from Marco Polo airport. (A short ride to the river and then it's a dedicated bike route next to the Sile most of the way.) We had a friendly welcome, very comfortable rooms and were given recommendations for places to eat. There was a safe space to leave the bikes overnight.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Hotel Rovere. The rooms were very nicely designed and decorated, spacious with an extra small room to store luggage and to hang a few clothes, including a safe to store valuables. We found our room to be very clean at all times and the room was cleaned on a daily basis. Breakfast was very good (especially for Italy, according to our previous experiences in Italy with limited breakfast options). The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of options for all tastes. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and supported us with good tips for local restaurants in Treviso and how to best travel around, for example to Venice. We simply have no improvement suggestions for this hotel. Great place to stay, great place for couples, clean, nicely designed room, extensive breakfast options and friendly staff. I certainly recommend staying at this hotel. Thumbs up!

This is a good bed and breakfast. The lady at the desk is very helpful and informative. For us the pizza on the same side of the hotel is more tasty. The accommodation comes with free parking. I always travel and nowadays the first thing I do when I check in is check the towels. We have all washed towels and basically have an idea of what freshly washed towels are. Towels here were really rancid and sour smelling. I don’t even know if management is aware of this. It’s the housekeeping staff. I have stayed in five hotels for the past five months; Vienna, Freiburg ,etc. Only one had fresh towels upon check in. Radisson Tromso. Now I will make it a point to bring my own. One hotel in Manila even admitted, “Oh, we forgot to change the towels!”

Response from Staff_HR, Proprietario at Hotel Rovere
Responded 4 May 2019
Dear Madame, Thank You for Your review about our hotel. I remember You and Your small group, three people in total, two rooms, two nights. Thank You for the kind words regarding our reception staff, we always try to help people with information about our nice city and surroundings. There are anyway some things we would like to point out regarding Your review: ours is not a Bed & Breakfast but a small, family-run three stars hotel. For this reason, towels MUST be and ARE changed upon check-out and when the Guest asks them to be replaced. We don’t have an internal laundry but we use an external service that serves other hotels and businesses in town. We don’t have an housekeeping staff, we just have a person that helps us cleaning the room and keeping the hotel as our own house; after the cleaning we personally check every room to ensure that everything is sanitized and in order. Should there have been any clear problem with the towels You could have told me immediately upon check-in or at least when I checked You out, but no complain came nor from You nor from the other people in Your or in the other room, nor for the first nor for the second night of Your stay. We think TripAdvisor is a good way of sharing a personal travel experience with other people, but problems and complains, if they arise and are real, should be presented in the first place during the stay, pointing them our directly to the people at the reception and not beyond a computer, where it’s far too easy to assume wrong things and to discredit the commitment to a job . Moreover, Your review also mentions other hotels, that You haven’t reviewed on Your TripAdvisor profile, that doesn’t have anything to do with our hotel: if You’ve experienced the same problem in other places all over the world the review should be done on their page and not on ours. It’s important not to forget that behind each business there are people, in this specific case a whole family, that always try to do the best to ensure a pleasant stay to all Guests. TripAdvisor gives You the space and the “power” You deserve, but it has to be used in the proper way. Best Regards
