Enjoy your stay in Padua!
I arrived very late and I was given a warm welcome by Susie. In the morning breakfast was laid out and I Susie made a fresh cappuccino for me. Out the back there was a very colourful terrace which wear full of flowers and places to sit. The place itself is very close to some wonderful bars and restaurants.
The Battisti is a charming place to stay. Situated on one of Padua’s cloistered streets, it boasts a central location and a relaxing ambience. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast OK but I would have appreciated a little ham and cheese with the other goodies. A proper toaster might also be a good idea.
It’s a small hotel, located close to the Old Town, with a really friendly and helpful owner. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a big bathroom. Every morning you can enjoy sweet breakfast and excellent coffee. The prices are much lower than in the nearby hotels. I’d definitely stay again.
B&B located in the historic part of Padua. We were lucky to have double room with ensuite and view of the courtyard. Decent breakfast was served on the terrace with quality coffee but the main asset of this place is very friendly and helpful staff. WE came before check in time and our room was waiting for us - spotless clean. Nothing was too much trouble for personel and we felt very welcome. Gracie mile tutti!
Friendly, helpful staff, nice breakfast spread during my 4-night stay. WiFi was fast and reliable in the dining room, best I encountered in 5 hotels in Italy. But WiFi rarely reached my room #2, so it was a stretch advertising it ‘available in all spaces’. (It was suggested I use a different server, but there was no improvement.) The hotel felt more like a noisy hostel. Room #2 could use some task lights, right now only an overhead florescent light in the bedroom and bathroom. The one task light above my bed did not function. Room needed a ‘door hanger’: 'Clean Room' or 'Do Not Disturb'. Hotel was uncomfortably cold the first 2 of 4 days. My sleep for four nights was poor. Walls, windows and door were flimsy thin. I was wakened by noise from outside, car traffic several times through the night and an annoyingly LOUD HOTEL BUZZER. Then someone near my room started showering about 06:30 and you would have thought a fountain had been turned on in my room, the noise of water was that loud. Much external noise, making it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. And I wear wax earplugs.…
