Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights between August 22th and 24th. We had a nice stay: the rooms are clean and with a lot of space, so are the bathrooms. The breakfast is delicious; you can satisfy your taste with many delights, both sweet and savory!

This is our second stay at the Garibaldi Hotel, and we definitely plan on going back to it if and when we might travel to the area. The staff is very accommodating, breakfast is wonderful, and it's also conveniently close to the train stop (about a 10 minute walk), which makes trips to any destination (Verona, Milan, Venice, Trieste, etc..) an extremely easy task. On top of everything, prices are more than reasonable, considering that a double with breakfast was roughly $60 a night. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice (a 20 minute train ride, at the incredible cost of $5 each way) or any other place in the area given its proximity to the railway.

My group stayed in this hotel last week for 1 night, and we had a terrible experience at the hotel. The hotel has 1 lift, AC not working in many rooms, rooms are too small & the locks were jammed. The owner named Nicole, was very rude & was shouting and yelling when we asked why the breakfast and dinner was not served on time. She wouldn't serve food to some people who wanted vegetarian. I'm the tour manager & will not recommend this hotel even for a night.

What more do you need? Hotel Garibaldi offered us a larger than expected (by European standards) room which was quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate by any standards and the location of the hotel, right off the A1, made it very easy to access. The hotel is also located in a very nice residential type area, with alternative restaurants and pizzerias within walking distance. This is a very good choice for not too much $$.

Convenient and functional hotel on the outskirts of Padua with free wifi. Pleasant neighbourhood nearby to wander around. Some good restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast is basic but included in the room rate.

Hotel Garibaldi is situated in a strategic position to visit Padua and Venice. The hotel offers spacious rooms equipped with Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, minibar, hairdryer in the bathroom and a LCD TV with football and cinema channels. The best part about the hotel is that there is a large garden where you can relax in the evening. A generous breakfast buffet of sweet and savory items is served daily, and there are many restaurants in the immediate area. The reception is open 24 hours a day.

This is a basic hotel, moderately clean, easy access, and helpful staff. But it does lack some of the touches I look for in a hotel; it was not uncomfortable but nothing special really. I decided that I could spend. 10 euros more and get a really comfortable room at another hotel a couple of kilometres away.

Decent hotel with basic amenities. Collection of old and renovated rooms with a basic functional bathroom. Breakfast was terrible but was probably organized by the tour company I was traveling with in Europe.
