We stayed here in Casa di Chiara for 2 nights last month. The rooms are so neat, you can see how Chiara attends personally to the cleaning. She is also a very good hostess, makes the guest feel so at home. Breakfast served was also with a lot of variety. Location is close to the bus stop, and a few minutes walk to Prato del Valle.

Hi I stayed at Bed and Breakfast ( Casa di Chiara ) for more than a week in January , 2013. I like to inform other guests that both Chiara and Sergio are very good people. They are friendly and know the art of welcoming guests. Bathroom is very clean ( although shared by other people ) . Breakfast is also good but still can be improved little bit. Chiara leaves her kitchen to be used by her guests and also provide the basic stuffs for cooking and I found it very useful for me. Rooms are quiet clean and the internet service is very fast. The price is also reasonable . Oh ! I forgot to mention Chiara and Sergio speak English very well and so non-italians will not have any problem of communication. Needless to say, I enjoyed my stay in their house and will recommend other tourists visiting Padova to stay there. Unknown Traveller Italy

A nice, quiet place that is very close to the center of Padova. Chiara is a very enthusiastic person and likes to give you advice for your stay. She speaks English well. Bikes, the best means of transport in this small city, are included in the price. Even if they are not of a high qualitiy, this is a great bonus. Unfortunately, the price varies depending on the season. So, first ask her. The food is decent and available the whole day.

The flat is clean, and the rooms are well-presented, and we cannot fault the hostess there. On that level, the place was what we were expecting. Chiara is knowledgeable, and her English is excellent. But one other review on this site echoed our own concerns: throughout our stay, the hostess was dressed in a small camisole and silk shorts that were either underclothes, or sleepwear, but not an appropriate outfit for greeting guests. Suffice to say we felt uncomfortable.

Firstly, Padua is not a very big city, and this B&B is pretty central. Personally speaking, I don't think that Padua really has a "centre". It may just be my impression. You can walk to the B&B provided that you don't have an army of suitcases with you. A backpack is fine. I knew nothing about Padua before I arrived at the station, yet, in five minutes I was outside Chiara's front door - thanks to her easy directions. Take the number 18 bus to Prato del Valle, then three stops after get off. Chiara is a very laid back, informative and congenial host. She will give you a local's guide to Padua, and not a tourist brochure. She is genuinely interested in you and your well being, and this makes your stay with her an enjoyable experience. For the price, the B&B and its facilities are very comfortable and clean. There are even signs in the kitchen in two languages, and with images, so that you know how to sort your rubbish, etc. You are made to feel welcome but also independent. You have free internet facilities, tonnes of breakfast goodies and snacks, as well as a kitchen to cook in. It isn't a five star hotel. It is someone's home in Italy. As such it satisfies every single need you may have. I didn't know what to expect of Padua, and even without any foreplanning, everything turned out perfectly. The city is unexpectedly stunning and all of its sights are easily reached and seen on foot. If you get tired, just take the bus back to the B&B.
