Picked this hotel because this and Hotel Donatello were the only 2 right beside the Basilica of St Anthony and it had a more modern look. However, while the reception is right by the main entrance/road, the rooms are quite a walk in and difficult to find (there are some signs, but they're a bit vague). Staff will not walk you to it and it is a tad inconvenient with luggage. It doesn't help that they've a door midway that has the same name as the sign (so you think it is the entrance), but the entrance is even deeper in. The room was great and practically laid out, as was the bathroom. It was a good no frills option. My gripe is that they don't allow for late checkout by an hour at all (and I wouldn't have minded paying for it). They say it is because of low occupancy and people want to go home early, but then my view is in which case, just don't open? And tourists can go elsewhere and they'd have even less to do... however, I appreciate reception calling me back after checking if the housekeepers would want to stay back... Also, even though checkout was 11am, I felt they were rushing me a bit. The housekeepers were already waiting outside my room before 1030am for me to checkout and I felt a bit of pressure and that it was rude, which I really don't want to deal with on a trip. At least wait till I'm gone...

Good services, very good breakfast, very friendly staff. The hotel is located in the center of the historical city. The structure is perfectly clean. Facilities include also an appreciable restaurant in terms of price and quality.

We loved the huge selection at the breakfast buffet (though we would prefer no music early in the morning), the staff was friendly and helpful at all times. We liked our room, the only thing that we would change would be a bigger shower. Overall it was a great experience and we will love to come back later in the year.

The hotel is a stone's throw from the Basilica of St. Anthony. The staff are very friendly, and the hotel is very clean. The room we had was unassuming but had a good television with CNN available as well as other Italian stations. The bathroom was fine with the usual basic toiletries as well as a hair dryer. The breakfast was also very good with a good variety of food. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel that could be very useful if you don not feel like looking for a restaurant. There is also on an ice cream place some 50 metres from the hotel. You just need to turn left when you leave the hotel and walk the 50 metres and on your left you will see the ice cream shop. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Padua.
