Recently visited for a ski trip, the hotel is very handy for the chair lift, literally 5mins walk, we stayed in room A10 which sleeps 6, rooms fine, access from main road. only other access is down a very steep drive. Breakfast included and ok, nothing fancy but perfectly ok. Staff very friendly and helpful, I would query the fact...

Just returned from a long weekend at Hotel Tavernier. This is a lovely old hotel situated a few mins walk from the main Ski lift, and a ten mins walk from the village centtre. We were looked after by Allesandra and Ellie who work incredibly hard, and go the extra mile to ensure guests have a good stay. Accomodation is...

We were a family of four in a family-room. The room was very low standard and smelled heavily of fungis. Very outdated overall. However, friendly and helpful staff as well as a very nice lounge changes my grade to a 2. But even the most helpful staff and nicest fire does not change the fact that this room was truly...

A classic alpine hotel, the Tavernier sits alongside the river just downhill from the Dolonne lift. It is fairly small, but clean, warm and friendly. The rooms are a good size (other than the shower cubicles!) and there is plenty of high pressure hot water available. The breakfast rates as 'OK' for a ski hotel (coffee not great) and the...

The location is nice, b-fast OK. the river is noisy but the room noise isolation is pretty good. The major problem is with the parking which is limited, and only small cars can get in. The spa area should be nice, but it was close during the visit

Good conditions, clean and comfortable room with good dimensions and with a good view, and the river running outside next to the bedrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff, and a good breakfast. Relation quality / price, very satisfactory.

Hotel is located across the river, rooms are spacious and well equipped. Breakfast is very good. Hotel is within walking distance to the center. Parking close to the hotel is limited. Staff is very helpful. WiFi is only available in the Lobby.

This is a old fashioned hotel which suited our group of hikers. It is on the located where you cross the river in Courmayeur so is easily found. It has the feel of a family hotel and was quiet in summer. It is a big step up from most of the accommodation/ refuges on the TMB and is suprisingly cheaper...

But, it must be the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. The decor is tired, the rooms a bit like a youth hostel, the food is fine. However, for value, you can't beat it! I give it 4 stars as to be honest, all the other benefits make up for the basic nature of the place. If it means...

Amazing location for skiing. Very close to Dolonne lift. Very helpful staff (booked pre st didier spa and organised taxi for us, provided paper and pens for games, stuck with us whilst we resolved bar bill!). Breakfast is quite basic cold selection with dishwater tea but lovely coffee, extra charge for eggs, hot choc etc). Some beds were really quite...
