I stayed at the Stadt Hotel Citta (Chee-tah) for about 10 days - which is actually the longest I've ever stayed in any hotel - and I travel a lot! The hotel is located in the main square and was in the middle of everything - we were able to walk to restaurants, nightclubs,

Right at the heart of Bolzano, the restaurant of hotel citta e the best place to have a quick break and enjoy some typical local food. A wide range of cheeses and some local prosciutto, with some local white wine can only make your afternoon. Worth trying.

This is a beautiful hotel in an old and charming building in Walther platz in Bolzano. The building has a central courtyard where many of the rooms face. These rooms are a bit dark, but they get some daylight. The staff were very helpful and nice. They spoke relatively good

We loved this hotel and would give it a 5-plus-star rating, except for one small thing (see below). The hotel has a great location overlooking Walther Platz (the main square). It is an easy 10-minute walk to the railway station. We were given a quaint, clunky old key by the

Expectations were high - my first trip to la Bella Italia. The hotel looked like a frozen image from the 1950's with its old neon lights and pink pastel rendered exterior, but it was in a very sweet nostalgic way where you expected Marcello Mastroianni to receive your luggage in

Is there an age restriction on using the spa?
Hello, we don't have any age restrictions for our Wellness Center (although babies and toddlers with nappies are not allowed into the whirlpool for hygiene reasons). We do however ask to keep a very low tone of voice to keep the atmosphere a quiet and relaxing one. We also remind families people use the saunas in our Wellness Center without clothing, which is sometimes not appreciated by families with small children.

Is there a lift? What is the parking situation?
I confirm there are lifts. The hotel doesn't reserve parking spaces for guests - the car park is a public one. It's also not frightfully well signposted from the motorway. I would put Waltherplatz into your navigator, then you will be guided to the entrance. If the carpark is full, there is also parking nearby beside the railway station "Parking Centro BZ". It's then a 150 metre walk to the hotel.

Hello! We generally do not organise a gala dinner at Stadt Hotel Citta' for New Year's Eve. However, there is a special "a la carte" menu available on the evening. Hope this answers your question!

What is the surcharge for parking?
We also arrived by train, so we did not need parking.
