We recently stayed at this quaint B+B. The rooms are very clean and roomy with cooking facilities. The breakfast is 5 euros and is well worth it. Carla is lovely and can't do enough to help you. It's set out in the countryside and in a beautiful spot. Would definitely recommend and thanks again.

We recently stayed at the Cascina Caldera for 4 nights and found the B&B to be very peaceful which was suited to our stay as we were 3 couples and our grandchild of 22 months. We stayed in the apartments which had 3 rooms all with their own bathroom facilities. We also had a playing area with swings which was great for our little grandson to play on. The proprietor was very friendly, helpful & spoke very good English. The breakfast was plentiful and an excellent cappuccino. I would highly recommend the Cascina Caldera! It is a little way out but was not a problem for us as we hired a car. Big thank you!!

Carla is a very warm 'normal' person, doesn't exagerate... Nice 'older' place, nice view, cute garden, rooms ok, breakfast ok, dinner very good, as if you were at home.... super!!! The location is up on a hill, not so easy to find but it was worth the climb!!!

We stayed at Cascina Caldera this year with our family and our little 1 yo daughter for a week. We were looking for a place suitable for of our family life and this was really our best choice. We stayed in "La stanza dei viaggi" with lots of space for us and our little one, very convenient family room with en-suite bathroom. The hosts were very welcoming and we enjoyed very much the mild weather and excellent food: they have a very nice "Trattoria" connected with the B&B. Additionally we received very useful tips for visiting the nearby Asti wine region and we were able to discover nice walks off the beaten tracks and visiting the wine-cellars of the local wine producers. Definitely recommended if you have a family ! Excellent base-camp for discovering the local italian wine producers. Only problem was finding the place, not really obvious to reach: look carefully at the signs on the main road or you would risk to get lost in the hills.

A wonderfully tranquil spot complete with spacious, clean rooms in a countryside where forest and farmland alternate through slightly hilly terrain. Calm atmosphere, great kitchen and hosts who speak several languages and possess considerable knowledge of the area - including tips on food and wines.
