We stayed for only one night and did not venture from the property but the hosts were very gracious and generous. A selection of food was prepared using their own farm produce and it was delicious. Large rooms.

We visited the region for 10 days. We spent 3 days in Milano and then went to Al Canei for 7 days to serve as our central point for visiting Piendmote. From this location near Asti, we traveled to Torino, Alba, Barbaresco, Barolo and other villages in the region. The experience was fantastic. Staying on a farm/vineyard gave us the real Piedmonte experience. We toured 6 vineyards in Barolo and Barbaresco and got a close up view of the vineyards at Al Canie. We started each day with a walk through the vineyards to a country road passing farms and taking in the views of the snow covered Alps. Eva and Simon are gracious hosts. One evening they served up a fantastic sampling of locally made food and Barbera wine from their vineyard. Every morning we had fruit, juices and various baked gods from the farm. Our suite was comfortable and way above our expectations for the price point and farm house setting. We would stay here again for a Piedmonte visit. While Barolo and Alba get more tourists than Asti, we loved being just a few kilometers from Asti which has a fabulous old city area with great shops and restaurants.
