Very unclean and cramped rooms. Beds are super close together in mixed dorm rooms. Bathroom is very tiny and very quickly became flooded after use. No blankets or sufficient amount of sheets supplied. The photos presented on the website and on other sites are exaggerated. Two other people staying in the dorm got into a physical altercation at 2am and staff did not care when reported. Checked out a night early because sleeping at the airport seemed more hospitable.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hostel was pretty clean in all the communal areas. The floor in my door room was dirty but that could’ve been from people coming and going throughout the day. €3 for a coffee and croissant was a good deal and the coffee was potentially one of the best coffees I’ve had on this trip. Good location, close to the canals where there’s loads of food options and then close enough to all the landmarks as well. Bed was comfy too
I pre booked myself in to avoid a hidden fee. The staff were very friendly and helpful in my experience, and one Italian gentleman was socialising with all of the guests. The room was standard and the bathroom was nice. The bed was comfortable. The room was a bit hot with no air conditioning, but was definitely manageable. The staff were layed-back and quite chill. I felt like anything could go, (which I actually liked). The only issue and MAJOR issue was the bed bugs. I soon discovered the room was infested and I had to travel south of Italy and unfortunately, the bed bugs followed me. I eventually had to put my bag in the thrash bin. I 100% would not return for the sole reason of bed bug infestations, it was certainly a deal breaker and it ruined the rest of my trip to Italy.…
Good location, just a short walk into the main center. Only one staff member that actually does their job, the rest are just teenagers looking to make some easy money. The room was a good size and the shower pressure was good. I was there for two nights I believe and on the second night, in the middle of the night, a drunk man checked in accompanied by a member of staff and was shown to the room and woke everyone up which is great. Not sure if they shouldve let him check-in but hey ho. Not sure what facilities were there I could use (first time staying in a hostel and travelling) as the staff do not explain anything to you. However the positives are, it's cheap, you get what you pay for, good location and a large locker is provided to keep your belongings in.
I arrived at the hostel at 11:20pm, and was asked to pay a 'late check-in fee' of 10€. Not only does the amount seems excessive (50% the price of a night!), but this fee was not listed anywhere (not on the website where I made the booking, neither on the hostel's own website), which makes it really outrageous. It is not the only hidden fee they have: even if you arrive at a 'normal' time, the hostel will charge you 3€ just to check you in (again, a fee that was not listed anywhere when making the booking). They will charge 4€ to store your luggage, etc, etc. There are a lot of others hostels in Milan that are a lot more friendly and respectful of their clients, avoid this one.
worst staff even seen there !! the cleaning lady cleans the room before 9 in the morning while you're still sleeping, making huge noise and the direction doesn't care when you complain about it and tells you to go take a hike (LORENZO), and the young receptionist girl (asian type) was so hypocrite and didn't make any effort to make you feel better. the only good person I met was the chief of the cleaning staff, who had humanity and was not acting like a robot who just wants your money like the others did. I went there 3 times and the other staff people i met were so horrible too : it's too hot in the rooms and they just laughed when i asked if they could low the heat down.So many bad vibes there I can't recommend it to anyone unless you want to live a nightmare.
This hostel was possibly the WORST place I have ever stayed. IF you are looking for a place to make your blood boil and be robbed of your money, please stay here. I booked two queen size beds in one room that was advertised on the website AND in my confirmation email that it was for 4 people total. Upon arrival, the front desk lady told me I only bought for 2 people. She said " I know it is advertised as 4 people on line but our system only allows 2". can you said "false advertisement"? She refused to accommodate me in ANY way even though it was THEIR fault that they advertised it wrong on their website and their confirmation email to me. Because they were UNWILLING to accommodate us in ANY way, we sadly had to pay twice as much for the other two guests of our party to have a place to stay. Every time I asked the front desk lady a question, she had to call a colleague to give her the answer because she did not know. I talked to another person at the front desk who claimed to be the manager and once I presented him with my problem, he confessed "I am just a employee not the manager". Lying, uneducated, and unorganized staff is an understatement. The last night we decided to go to the hostel bar that advertised that they sold alcoholic drinks such as beer, wine, and vodka. When we asked for a drink, the girl said again, "I know the sign says we have that but we only have coffee".... ok. If you book online with this place ( which I strongly suggest you don't even waste your time ) just split the advertised amount of people in half because they will say it isn't that amount of people in their "system". AVOID AT ALL COSTS.…
Very clean rooms, good location. Many restaurants and street food available nearby. Duomo and Milan Center is not very far from this place. The place is worth it’s price. The canals in Navigli are very lively at night!
They charge you 20€ deposit per person, which can be paid only with credit card. Unfortunately they don't seem to give it back. I sent them E-mail three times and the response was always same automated message. I also tried to call them, but nobody responded. Also they offer a lot of things on their Bar menu, but only have coffee and beer.
Spent 2 nights in Milan and if you are looking for budget accommodation this hostel could be the option. From the Duomo Metro station, you can take tram no 15 with 3 stops and walk about 3 minutes to the right. However, if you would like to walk it takes about 20 minutes. The room is very small for 6 people and the breakfast not included.
