I was in the AC/Marriot Hotel in Milan for a business meeting this June 2012. The hotel is well located even if not easy to reach by car. The parking is very narrow. It is a design hotel with nice common areas My room was pretty small an I was not upgraded in spite of being a Marriot club member....

As a frequent Marriott traveler I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Apparently a new property, it is well designed for comfort and style. The room was excellent and the bed very comfortable. Same for the excellent breakfast, The only drawback was the silly wireless access scheme where "free" is basically a teaser to pay full rate for acceptable bandwidth.

This hotel is a bit sterile since it is appointed in a rather contemporary style. It has cold and somewhat unfriendly furnishings, but still reasonably comfortable. That's probably the problem with comtemporary styles since they all seem so bland and dehumanized (at least to my wife and me). The room was acceptable if not full of "warmth". The TV service...

++Some of the staff were very helpful and accomodating. Breakfast was excellent for both kids and adults alike. It is linked to the tram system, as well as walking distance to the train station, which also directly serves the airport. -- Perhaps it was the Italian culture or temperament, but I feel front desk staff should be more customer service...

As a business traveller who stayed in this hotel for 4 days I feel it came up short on two fundamental points: (1) internet access is outsourced to Swisscom - basically you have to pay extra for every device you wish to connect (laptop, iPad, iPhone) at steep rates and then once they have taken your money actually getting a...

Cannot really fault the hotel itself. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the hotel itself is kept well and clean throughout. The mini bar is free of charge and consists of: 1x bottle of still and sparkling water, 1x can of Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and Fanta Orange. There is also a bottle of fruit juice (a blend of Carrot,...

Marriott has developed a wonderful concept with its AC hotels in Italy and Spain. The AC design is decidedly modern, which isn't necessarily my personal taste but which nonetheless offers the business traveler a host of amenities. The hotel is located in a not very scenic part of the city, but is very accessible to the city's train station, facilitating...

All the reviews telling you about a modern and well located hotel are true. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Continental breakfast is very good and staff at the front are helpful. €170 for two incl breakfast is good value for money.

Milano was our last destination on our Italian Vacation and we only stayed one night before flying out of Malpensa the next day. It was comforting to be in a Marriott and have a good night sleep before a long plane ride the next day. The room was nice, clean and very modern. The bed was the most comfortable bed...

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
