We went to this hotel for one night and we spent one of the worst nights ever. We chose it because of its close location to the train station, as we had an early train the next day. The guy at the reception first told us the hotel was full, but as we were leaving, he told us to wait:...

After reading other reviews, expectations were low for this hotel, but at 70Euros per night (dirt cheap for Milan) we weren't expecting much from our 2 night stay. Our greeting upon arrival was very friendly and the young man was very helpful. Our room was small but had an ensuite bath. It was next to the reception area and was...

I spent 2 nights at this hotel. I had a single ensuite room which was located beside the reception area. Unfortunately on both nights, particularly the first, my sleep was badly disturbed by the noise coming from reception. There was almost constant talking coming from the reception area long into the night. In addition the staff in reception were in...

The best thing is the position of the hotel (actually hostel): close to the metro station and Milan's central train station (where shuttle buses to all airports depart and arrive). Even though it is close to the central train station, the area seems safe.It is situated inside a courtyard, so you...

Staying in Bicocca

Neighbourhood Profile
Bicocca
Although Bicocca is a peripheral district, many visitors will find it appealing. The district is enveloped by the immense Parco Nord (North Park), one of the largest parks in Europe. Inside is the theater Arcimboldi, one of the most important contemporary theaters where concerts and shows are organized. In the same area, there is the University of Milan Bicocca, whose distinct architecture rivals a movie set. Coffee shops, a multiplex and a shopping center are in the campus, along with the Fondazione Hangar Bicocca, one of the most famous museums of Contemporary Art.
