The location of the Pavone is excellent: walking distance from the Duomo, with buses and trams outside, as well as a convenient and very good pizza restaurant next door. The trouble is that, as a cheap option in central Milan, it attracts some rather young, rowdy people, who will interrupt your sleep when returning at 4am, given the acoustics produced...

The good point, it is well located, just 10 minutes by walk to the Duomo, Galleries, and commercial center. Great. But apart of the location the hotel does not worth the money paid. It announces with wireless wifi in the room, well, impossible to connect, too weak signal makes wifi desappear. The parking is located about 4 blocks away, it...

We are a school group who stayed at the Hotel Pavone for only one night as we had limited time in Milan. We found the staff to be friendly and very helpful. Our rooms were comfortable and clean and the breakfast was sufficient, although fruit would have been nice. The location was terrific being only a ten to fifteen minute...

Stayed at this hotel for one night enroute to Florence. The location of the hotel is very central to city centre, easy 10 minute walk. Rooms basic but clean. Free wifi. Basic breakfast eg prepackaged corn flakes, yoghurt, some cheese & hams, minimal breads & pastries. No fresh fruit. No lift. Ok for a short stay eg overnight. Room rate...

very kind staff, which was very friendly and made all the possible for our wishes. Breakfast tipicalI Italian, that means very sweet and fatty ;) but good. The rooms were as most people yet had said sapartan, but clean und comfortable...safe was to my sense a little ridicoulous: it was so little, that you could only put a few battery...

Unfortunately the air conditioning stopped working in the evening which resulted in a lousy night. When asked about it at 4am, it amazingly started working again.. For me, this was too suspicious. The exact same happened to our friends in another room. Beds were quite hard, but clean. Good location if going to Linate next morning. Staff was friendly excluding...

I paid €70 a night in late June for a spartan room with two small beds - so it's pretty cheap. The WiFi signal was very poor and not usable in my room. It was 35 degrees C (95F) but I had to ask them to enable in the in-room air conditioning. The TV is a joke, a 10" screen...

Apparently Milan is a city where you should look into hotel prices before you decide your travel dates. The prices of hotel around the Center , Duomo area, can go up to 300 Euros or more regardless of their star rating and depending on the time of the year. When I say time I don';t mean calendar time I mean...

Everywhere in the world, hotels in the hearth of big town are most expansive, In a big business town like Milan of course high prices depend from convergence of fair-exhibition-fashion, nothing to be astonished, no comment worty. If remote control not working, just ask the reception and will provided another. Our breakfast is addressed to the italian custom of cappuccino...

Simply do not go there. I agree with everybody else. Expensive ugly place! Old furniture, small bathroom, no lift, no minibar, horrible pictures on the walls, thin walls, poor breakfast, unfriendly staff... all in all it was depressing. A room can reach the incredible price of 250 Euros in high season. Unbelievable. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

No lift, we agree, is a lack althoug the hotel has only one floor. A 3 stars hotel can not have precius furniture (ours, 6 years old), on the walls can not have Monet, Picasso , Rembrand pictures. Even 4 stars Hotel can have small bathrooms thin walls dipend from the building architecture. Our breakfast adressed to the italian custom...
