You are paying for the unbeatable location. You are literally a 2 second walk from the Duomo and Rinascente. But that's it. We paid extra for a Superior Room. But the room was tiny and literally the width of a king bed. The bathroom was awful and every time we used the shower it flooded the entire bathroom. The shower...

Good location. Decent place. Will stay again. Not easy to find. Better to go via taxi. Small but nice boutique hotel. Had a room with a double and single bed. Like that it was brightly lighted up so my daughter could do her reading

The hotel is interesting and is in a great location. However for the standards is seemed expensive. The mattress in our first room was so slopped we had to move rooms. I think because the interior is black it makes it really hard for them to keep clean as any dust or hair is easily visible. The bar was lively...

Hotel Staf makes your stay in Milano a dream stay. Delicious breakfast and delicious lunch. Comfortable beds and thinking sustainability. Located very close to the cathedral and the Rinachente Department Store and near Teatro della Scala and close to a garden where I could walk the dog. And a bar which offers Happy Hour from 6 pm sometimes with live...

We stayed few days at Hotel STRAF while in Milano. STRAF is a beautiful design hotel in a great location few meters from the famous Milan Duomo and the fancy shopping streets. The hotel decoration is elegant metallic and simply beautiful, clean, spacious rooms, good size bathroom. Breakfast was good too, although you need to pay extra to order fried...

It is really good location where just few steps for a station of Metropolitano and famous department store, Rinascente and shopping arcade. Room is spacious and good designed. Reception staffs are all very friendly. One problem is even small hotel, a breakfast room maybe too small.

Apart from the amazing location at the center of the heart of Milan, the hotel disappointed me in all ways, Value over money is very low and breakfast buffet was very poor. The arrival experience in my car was horrible and the staff just made worst. The room design is odd in the bad way odd.

I wrote all comments in previuos screen - I choose this hotel only because of excellent loacation, decoration style I don't like at all, alsto the policy to have soap and cream in bathrooms in bulk, I find it unhygienic

Amazing location with the Duomo and Galleria Emmanuel literally next door. The hotel is uber cool with great decor, slick rooms and fittings although slightly older and worn in some areas like the bathroom. The staff seemed generally aloof with the exception of a very warm lady behind the reception who had the best recommendations for dining.

Straf hotel has a perfect location, steps away from Duomo and a door away from the famous la Rinascente department store. Straf Bar that is directly on the street is known for its Apperitivo time where a cool crowd gathers every evening. The rooms at the hotel are nice and clean but a bit dark which has to do with...

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
