very close to the main train station, everything you might need around, resto,s and pubs and a grocery that stays open late, nice little pizzerias around,The hotel itself could do with a bit of redecoration,a touch of clean up too.The stuff could do with some more English, though they were willing..Very good breakfast ,very nice coffee. All and all it was a comfortable stay.I might...

These rooms seem to be very dated and the whole hotel could do with a clean up and perhaps a restyle. However we booked the day before and it was by far the cheapest hotel. For the price the room was clean and the balcony was nice. The air con Is pretty poor but better than nothing. The bathroom was...

I've used this hotel a few times when arriving and departing from Milan to the airport. The buses to airports leave right outside the main station. It is only 5 minutes walk from the station but in a nice quiet area. The reception areas is pretty impressive! Rooms vary in size but they are all nice with a balcony. Reasonably...

Lots of confusion with the booking with the hotel cancelling the rooms an hour before we arrived. This seemed to be caused by an issue with a card number somewhere along the way. The receptionist was friendly and sorted the issue and gave us the price we were quoted with the original booking. The hotel is very close to the...

The worst hotel I've ever seen The staff was horrible Guest comes back and finds out their baggage is stolen, moved and room is empty!!!!! And when you call an auditor or manager the receptionist says in bad manner that there is no one in the hotel! It is the worst place to stay in Milano!

The hotel is located near the central station (5 min by walk), which is very convenient. The room was clean, the bed really good ans we had a balcony. Hence we had breakfast on the balcony in the sun in the morning. The personnel is very nice ans speaks easily italian, english, spanish ans french.

The hotel is close to Central Station and not far from city center. There are several restaurants (mainly pizzerias) and a shop (Penny) within 200 meters from the hotel. The hotel room was clean, with old furnitures. It was lovely. But our preferred part was the huge balcony, it was great to have breakfast there.

I was in a business trip, so I couldn't ask much. The positive was the metro that was close enaugh, 5-7 minutes walk and the proximity to train station. Some of the personel was very friendly, some not at all. The negatives are alot: Unclean! I was puting the phone on the bed in order the cleaning lady to see...

I am lukewarm after having stayed at this hotel. The breakfast was good and offered a nice variety. They did close up about 1/2 hour before they said they were going to do so. By the 3rd day, they did not replenish the fruit. The room had an entry area and a veranda. It had some basic air conditioning...meaning it...

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and found it very nice. The hotel is near to Central station and all the places worth visiting can be reached by metro. Our room had a lovely little balcony and we could enjoy a cup of tea or coffee there. Everything was very neat and the staff was helpful and friendly....

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
