After a catastrophic stay at Nhow Milano, I decided to book this hotel for my return trip in Milan. I booked this hotel on their website and the price was very reasonable. Location wise, there are small restaurants near the hotel but this hotel is not located in the best part of Milan, but it didn't bothered me as I had my car with me. They have paid secure parking which I used. It is not very convenient though as you have to get off the car to get to the interphone to have the gate opened. Although the parking entrance is located maybe around 100m away from the hotel entrance, there is a direct access that leads to the hotel reception. The reception was a bit cold and I even had to wait even if there was 3 receptionists and only one person checking in before me. Also, the room keycard didn't work so I had to go back to the reception to have it replaced which was inconvenient as my room was quite far from the front desk. I had a room overlooking the street, but I think they have rooms that has a view of the hotel's Court which has a nice garden and dining area which I suggest you book. The room was a bit dark, but quite spacious for Milan. It was clean and charming and is definitely worth the price you paid for. Room amenities were sufficient and contrary to the other comments, the sound proofing was OK in my opinion. Although I must admit that I can be a deep and heavy sleeper who is not easily bothered by noise when I am super tired. The bed was very comfortable and I got a way better sleep in this hotel than in the other hotel I stayed at in Milan. Breakfast was nice and the breakfast hall was spacious. The breakfast team were also very friendly and always had a smile on their faces. Way better than the smug faces of the personnel in the front desk. Check out was much faster and driving out of the parking was more convenient. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and will definitely use it in the future. Should have booked it before instead of Nhow Milano. Definitely a high 4 star hotel experience that I highly recommended. …
Lovely hotel - would highly recommend. The rooms and the bathroom were spacious and clean. Very convenient location close to the metro and fairly close to city centre. Beautiful Italian gardens. Breakfast was great too. Overall, great experience.
We had a very late arrival and the receptionist was a bit short … Saturday evening … maybe that was way. But we parked (35 euro per night … I forgot to ask the rate but ok) and we stayed for 3 nights. Good breakfast and all very nice and clean. Not that central but a great neighbourhood with great lunch and diner (don’t forget the icecream 😉) opportunities. Metro easy. Swimming pool was top and clean. So I would go for 5 if I was getting a warm intro but I go for a big 4. Thanks all!!
the hotel is fantastic. the only problem is the location-out of the center of Milan and of the main attractions. but the rooms are spacious, clean and with a very good bathroom the breakfast is very good the staff is courteous and efficient
Stayed overnight during a quick trip to Milan. The hotel is truly great with clean rooms and one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Staff were friendly and spoke fluent English. The only negative is there is a 20 euro fee to use the pool and 35 fee for parking. Hotel is about 3 km from downtown and a beautiful and safe walk.
We had an unenjoyable stay at this hotel. The room was not ready on time - we waited for more than an hour. No explanation or apology from the Front Desk staff...who appeared to view guests as an occupational inconvenience. The room was a double...although my son and I had booked two singles. No explanation or apology from the Front Desk...just a petulant and cryptic, "You should have told us earlier" (?!). The hotel tried to charge us more for our stay than agreed on booking. I showed them screenshots of the booking forms, receipts, etc. No explanation or apology...just a cynical, "We believe you but you could have faked the screenshots". It took an email and one month to receive our 'pre-authorisation fee' refund. No explanation or apology! The Front Desk definitely need a customer service refresher course. All the other hotel staff were great. But, from our Front Desk experience(s), we would not return or recommend this hotel.…
This hotel is so beautiful and truly grand. The lobby is quite large with gleaming marble floors and lovely, well maintained decor throughout. The air conditioned room was very large with a lofty high ceiling and tall windows, plenty of comfortable furniture and a firm, king sized bed. It was one of the few hotels we stayed in that actually uses a top sheet under the comforter. The bathroom was large with marble floors and wall tiles. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, although at times it was a challenge to flag down a server to get some coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at this beautiful hotel.
This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. After staying at a much less opulent hotel in Milan, we were immediately impressed when we walked in and found ample seating and a grand piano. Our family was upgraded to a gorgeous family suite on the top floor that overlooked the garden. The room was spacious and felt classy. The next morning we enjoyed breakfast in the garden. It was a typical European hotel breakfast, but the setting was lovely and we enjoyed our time outside. My only issue with the hotel was that the pool cost $20 Euro a day per person. I have never heard of paying extra for a pool at a hotel. Luckily we did not need the pool, but I could imagine some unhappy families if they were expecting the pool to be included. The staff was kind and welcoming and assisted me with making a dinner reservation.…
This is a beautiful hotel and we had a great time. The hotel was nice a clean, had a nice garden, the restaurant was nice and the bar was open until late. We stayed on the 2nd floor and our room was nice and spacious, aircon was great, the mini bar was well stocked and the maid came everyday. Our view out the window was nice too, we could see the cobbled streets and the tram passing by, it kind of looked like a postcard. The restaurant was nice, staff was friendly and if you like traditional Italian food then you would enjoy it. The breakfast was also nice we went down every morning, it was the same thing everyday but that was ok because it was good food. Only thing is tho, there were no omelettes as standard, I think they could have made you one but you had to pay extra (€8) Let’s talk about the bar. The bar was amazing, not only was it open til late but the bar staff were very knowledgeable on anything drink related. There wasn’t a drink that the lovely Henry or Paulo couldn’t make you. Whilst I am on the Henry and Paulo subject, I’d like to take this opportunity to just say how amazing they are. They introduced themselves and asked our names and it was lovely service ever since. They made us feel welcome, kept the amazing drinks flowing, learnt early on what kind of drinks we liked and kept the drinks coming. The service from them two was absolutely outstanding and we would visit again just to see them. They are real assets to the hotel. Thank you. The hotel itself is not far away from the duomo. We just took the subway, it was 3 stops. Once you get to the duomo you can also do the bus tours, we did the 4 tours over 48 hours which was nice. We also did the canal cruise which wasn’t far from the hotel too. Immediately outside the hotel you can also hire bikes and scooters. You just have to download the app if you haven’t already and go. All in all the hotel was great, service was great, location was great and we love Henry.…
Very nice hotel with airconditioned rooms. Great breakfast in the hotel garden. Great price/performance. The breafast was very nice and not at all as small as Italian breakfast can be. Very nice to enjoy in thehotel garden.
