I am here this evening will not rate breakfast because it is a warm summer evening and I am used to a cold climate so cannot sleep so well without a fan or a/c so will skip breakfast for some extra sleep. Room is very basic but tv works(not remote), wifi works well :) and the staff member at check... More

I booked a room last minute in this 'Hotel' for one night on booking.com. When I realised the situation, I tried to stay out eating and drinking for as long as possible not to have to spend too much time there. In hindsight, one is better off napping on a bench in the park than staying at this dump for... More

I was looking for an affordable hotel in Milan near a train or metro station to stay just one day. After scanning some hotels at booking.com, I found a "deal" from this hotel: from 110 euro to 60 euro. I confess I was naive and booked it right away thinking that a hotel that is normally 110 euro should be... More

Good points: + near milano centrale station + cost cheap thinking that is near and accessible but u can really find very nice hotel with their price from few stations away from centrale. + bed is ok. Cons: - very old building - shower area in really a small space infront of the wc - not very clean - staff... More

Good Points,The Location of this hotel is good near the station and a few minutes walk from the attractions in Milan, the hotel is surprisingly clean, and the towels are changed every day. Bad Points, This hotel needs updating badly, it is very much like the 70s, I think that was the last time in was decorated, the main problem... More

This hotel is rip off! The pictures are far away from the reality! We booked 2 nights, but in 2 separate bookings. We booked a twin room (2 beds), ticked the quite room options and the balcony. They confirmed the booking. On arrival we got a double room with a promise of a twin room for the 2nd night. It... More

(1) Misleading: Booked the room by hotels.com. According to the description, the room has air conditioning, direct-dial phone, free Wi-Fi, hair dryer, minibar and television. But none of them could be found during my stay. Was told by staff that extra cost of is needed for a room with A/C. (2) Wi-Fi: Couldn't get online even though staff confirmed the... More

The hotel is near the center and station, nice and clean for a one star hotel, breakfast included, you can keep your food in the fridge as well (like a yoghurt). Only one minus is the walls - you can hear everything that is in the next room...though I can sleep even with people talking but my mother was a... More

Hotel Verona is simply a decent budget hotel. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the location is O.K. There's no question it could use some cosmetic fixes but those can be easily overlooked if you'd prefer to spend your cash on the fabulous food and sites in Milano. The highlight of our morning/stay at Hotel Verona was... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
