Location is excellent in the centre of Milan, only 10 minutes walk from the Duomo or Cadorna station. The hotel is quite basic, the rooms I and my colleagues had were doubles but very small and the décor and furnishings rather tired (but functional). Wifi was free and worked fine, even on the fifth floor. There is no restaurant in...

Relatively nice location and friendly stuff. That's is :( Hotel is very old. Though the room was not so bad, is´t smelled with cigarette smoke, though it's written everywhere, that smoking is forbidden. Breakfast is very poor. The breakfast room is very small too. No parking. Wifi works, but the signal is weak sometimes.

It's very close to city center, very well clean but my room was very small. Also shower is small with curtain. Maybe superior rooms are better. So the right compromise between nice hotel and around services. I think I will came back in the future.

It's really close to center city, maybe 5 minutes by walk you can be in front of Milan cathedral!! The hotel is very comfortable because the room is very big!!! I don't know if each room has the small living room where you can find a sofa with a tv because my room has its!!! Staff is friendly!!! The breakfast...

The Hotel doesn't live up to their 4* rating, however this should be quite evident by reviewing the pictures posted by other travellers. It was tidy, quite but a bit rough on the edges. Perfect if all you want is a bed during the night, but if you're planning on spending a lot of time in the room I wouldn't...

I booked a single room which turned out to be a double single use, so it wasn't too small. The double bed was comfortable enough. The free breakfast was decent, just an average continental buffet but you get fresh coffee and cappuccino. It's a shame they charge for WiFi.

This Hotel is very tired, the bed was as hard as the floor, there was no shower (hand held hose to be used in the bath), the internet is completely unusable, there was no air-conditioning. The staff were friendly enough and the location is very good. We paid an absolute fortune as stayed during the Furniture Expo, a complete rip-off...

It has some of the smallest hotel rooms I have been to. Single twin bed, tiny bathroom, old furniture. The very bad part is that the wall sockets did not work, (in all the three rooms my tea was in) they were old and the computer's plug or hair dryer did not even fit in, only one socket in the...

The basic problem of Hotel Mentana is that it doesn't provide a free Wi-Fi connection. You can pay for either 1 or 8 hour connections, paying respectively € 2 and € 8. Internet is a basic asset if you're a professional or, for instance, if you are travelling to a city to attend a scholarly or scientific conference. This was...

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
