Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great little hotel for a week. The staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were clean, and well equipped and the calm view of the terrace was a pleasant surprise Coffee was perfect, but the breakfast could be included more vegetables.

Basic, no frills. The room was clean. The mattress was thin and uncomfortable. The bathroom and shower were tiny. The bathroom seemed to have been recently renovated with a couple of glaring exceptions. 1) the toilet seat was obviously very old, stained, chipped, and didn’t match the rest of the bathroom. It seems a very strange choice to not replace this since it is such a cheap thing to do, and it makes a big negative impression. 2) the shower door leaked out the bottom and very easily came off track. There is nowhere in the shower to put shampoo, etc. There is a nice garden in the courtyard to have your breakfast in. The buffet breakfast itself was ok. The coffee service was friendly and the coffee was good. It is a several minute walk to the Metro. We were asked to surrender our room key every time when leaving the hotel. I’m not sure if this is normal in Milan. It’s the only hotel where I’ve stayed at that did this.

Nice hotel, small rooms. Very limited breakfast. Enough for a couple and no more. A very good level of cleanliness in the rooms, there is heating for towels in the shower. You can also order a hot drink in the evening for an additional fee. There is public transportation not far away.

Brought my fiancé here as part of his birthday present. The reception staff were so lovely & helpful throughout our stay. Room could’ve been better - was a bit small, toilet seat was broken and could’ve done with a kettle. Can’t thank the staff enough for giving us hot water when we asked for it though! Breakfast was lovely & is beyond continental, as you get cooked items such as bacon & eggs as well. Room was cleaned spotlessly every day. Overall, we were really pleased with our stay & would return!

We stayed here for 3 nights. It's free parking during the stay. The hotel rooms were really clean and we got new towels everyday. The breakfast garden is cozy. It's a 8 min walk to the metrostation and a fruit shop nearby. All the staff is friendly, especially for Derek the receptionist who has helped us with everything and is funny. Overall it was a nice stay. Thank you xx your Indonesian neighbours :) Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel over a weekend. We had one of the refurbished rooms which was nice and clean, the bathroom was also nice and loved the disco light in the shower! The breakfast was ok, a fair selection although items were not promptly replenished. The hotel is small and based on a quiet road with a couple of nearby restaurants. The metro station is about 10 minutes walk away so was a fairly good base for a weekend in Milan away from the hustle and bustle.

We made reservations and after the Coronavirus exploded in Italy particularly Milan this hotel refused to cancel our reservation. I’m not inclined to take myself or my family into the middle of a serious virus pandemic for obvious reasons but the “professionals” who run this hotel have thus far refused to offer refund or any other financial compensation. I would never book with them again and warn others as well.

We stayed here for just one night to see Milan before flying home from a ski trip. We were welcomed by very friendly staff, helped translate some parking restriction signs for us and print off some documents that we needed! When we checked out they allowed us to store our luggage (including skis) so we could enjoy our day in Milan. There is lots of parking surrounding the hotel but the area is very busy. The parking on the pavement is free but the on road parking is chargeable between 8am and 1pm. We didn’t have any trouble at all and got a space right outside the hotel but I do think we were just lucky and it isn’t always so easy! The rooms are small but spotlessly clean, with a lovely shower. Although only a travel hairdryer, which wasn’t overly powerful especially if you have a lot of hair like myself! Breakfast was included with a good variety considering the size of the hotel. They catered well for gluten free too. Only a 10minute walk to the nearest Metro too, which was just a few stops from the centre of Milan, although we did walk back and it only took about 45minutes. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I would also highly recommend the 10 minute walk (max) to the Cake shop Navotti Milano which is a completely gluten free bakery. Eating gluten free I was in heaven but even my husband said how good it was and he eats ‘normally’! Da Hakim pizzeria is also within easy walking distance, again excellent food with an extensive gluten free menu.

Nice rooms, great staff situated near the metro 1000 meters (get Red line at Loreto) to get to the city (Dumo stop). Breakfast mediocre the surrounds nice with only a couple of restaurants and bars which was a minus. Recommend the hotel and look for room 14 as have access to a lovely picturesque balcony and garden.

The staff was very polite and helpful, the rooms clean and tidy. The location left some to be desired though... although there were lots of stores. the ones open until late were quite far away and the metro too is around 10 minutes walk at best (and it doesn't seem like a very safe area, but we could be wrong).
