Lovely hotel in lovely location, very central for a walk to Duomo, but far enough away from the noise and traffic of central station. The room has quirky design and it works well with its colour theme. The staff is friendly and breakfast is good....More

You have to sympathise with anyone running hotels in old cities like Milan, they are very much restricted in terms of size, etc. Hotel Sanpi have really managed this issue well, a quirky layout to position the breakfast room and fitness room, with a lovely...More
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the
terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.

Hi, we caught the train from Malpensa to Milano Centrale - there are very regular services and it is a lot cheaper than getting a taxi and more convenient than the bus. The station is easily accessible from the airport. A matter of a walk of a few hundred metres. You can then walk from Centrale to Sanpi - it is about 10 or 15 minutes walk - or you can get a taxi from Centrale to Sanpi - from memory it was about 15 euro. We have also in the past parked a hire car when staying at Sanpi - they have valet parking available and they use a local multistorey carpark - it is reasonably expensive from memory though and central Milan is not the easiest place to drive in. Hope this helps.
