Full of character, quiet hotel. Excellent location-near the red line metro station. Very pleasant and professional stuff. Nice breakfast is served in italian traditional design dining room. Tip: ask for the inner rooms.

I recently stayed here with my husband and found all the staff to be very polite, helpful and friendly - even giving an umbrella on rainy days! Breakfast was the usual continental options and room was comfortable. The location is good - close to the metro and tram. The Duomo is only 3 stops away on the red metro line...

Spent a few days here with my daughter on a visit to Milan. The hotel had everything we required and was easy to get to. Breakfast was included and had plenty of choice. Near enough to go shopping and visit the sights. This was my third visit to this hotel.

A nice, quite hotel. Well located, only 5 min to a metro station. It is clean and comfortable. Very pleasant and professional personnel. I would only advise to take something to close your ears for nights, as it is a bit loud outside.

While the rooms are nicely designed, the bathroom and its amenities do not live up to the standards of 4**** hotel, I even had to report one problem and call for the service guy. Otherwise, hotel grounds and especially the yard look marvellous and cosy. The gym is quite small, but absolutely enough for a workout. Breakfast is average with...

We received a friendly and efficient welcome. All members of staff of staff from reception, the bar, the maids & breakfast team were terrific. The breakfast had plenty of choice and the staff were like perpetual motion constantly refilling. The Superior Room was plenty large enough and clean. The neighbourhood had an eclectic mix of low and high quality bars...

Despite very poor weather we had three super days in Milano. The hotel was very comfortable, warm and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for better. We requested a quiet room....Room 410 was perfect for us on the top floor. The breakfast room was spacious and had a good variety and the staff, again, lovely. The Duomo...

My Fiancee and I have recently returned from a 3 night stay at this Hotel and we had a fantastic time. Firstly I have to mention the location, whilst perfectly placed between the central area and "old milan" (i.e. the town centre) this street itself is not the best, however like any city there are streets which are nicer to...

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Sanpi for three nights, the location of the hotel was great, close to two different metro stops and the number 1 tram (although in winter the tram is cold). The hotel was very nice, we arrived at around 11:30 and they were happy to accommodate us straight away. The room was small but...

Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Sanpi Milano is a modern 4 stars boutique hotel member of the international chain Worldhotels. The hotel is made up of three buildings built at the end of the 19th century, and it has recently been renovated in accordance with a catchy design. The common spaces are inspired by a refined artistic taste thanks to the paintings of contemporary artists. The Hotel is located in the city center, exactly between Piazza Repubblica and Porta Venezia Corso Buenos Aires: the railway link stops in both and it connects with the nearby cities. The Duomo (Cathedral) and la Scala (Opera House) of Milano are reachable on foot. In fact in 10 minutes you will be there and in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and Montenapoleone street. The hotel is located in Via Lazzaro Palazzi that is a side street of Corso Buenos Aires, the longest shopping street in Europe. In addition the Sanpi is 200 meters far from the main subway lines (red line MM1 Porta Venezia which arrives directly to the exhibition center; yellow line MM3 Repubblica; green line MM2 Centrale). In 5 minutes on foot you can arrive to the Central Station (Air Terminal) and in the surroundings you can find as well the Garibaldi Station (High speed train terminal). The room experience offered from the Sanpi is just unique: 79 rooms one different from each other with atmospheres that range from the modern style interiors conceived by a famous architect studio, to the classic style of vintage furniture. Different rooms are provided with balcony that overlooks the beautiful internal garden, at shelter from the city noise. All the rooms are soundproof and equipped with air conditioning, parquet floor, free satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi and in the Suite and Deluxe type there is the hydro-massage bathtub.Within the hotel the guests have access to the modern fitness room Technogym wellness, to the lovely bar on the interior garden where they can be lulled by the silence: the ideal place to taste a cocktail and relax at the same time. In the light restaurant a selection of the best Italian tradition is served together with vintage wines. The small villa, which was once a crossing keeper box, represents now an exclusive house in our private garden. The Business corner is equipped with a PC with internet connection, a printer, fax and a photocopier and it is always at the guests' disposal. The Venice meeting room of 85 sqm can host corporate meeting thanks to the natural light and to all the necessary technical devices such as stereo surround, tv projector, board with changeable sheets. The Hotel Sanpi Milano is member of the international hotel chain Worldhotels and it is identified by the code WW in the GDS systems. The reservations can be done directly or using GDS or internet or mail.thank you for your attention and time. ... more   less
