Back to Milan and traveling by air again. This is a newly renovated hotel within walking distance of the Duomo. The fittings in the hotel are really well thought out and the designer has gone to extreme to create the same theme throughout the hotel. The exterior history is brought into the interior and every detail is evident from the bar to the hallways into the rooms. The light fittings from the bar extend to the rooms and the attention to detail in the pictures on the walls and mirrors are designed to give a retro but clean line feeling. Breakfast is freshly cooked and as per 5 star hotel is without fault. Go here you will not be disappointed. The staff have been well trained in every detail and they are all so friendly and well turned out they are a credit to the hotel.

The hotel cleanliness and the professionalism of some of the employees are the main concerns. There was a pair of dirty female underwear left in the bathroom when I checked in. The housekeeper came and simply took the panties and left. She did not bother to clean the shelf or disinfect the surface. There was also lots of hair on the floor in the bedroom, so I’m not sure if the room was vacuumed. I didn’t like the layout of my 1st assigned room, and I asked the front desk for an alternative room. The employee - Alice - was obviously annoyed by my request. She kept saying that because they gave me an “upgrade” that I should be happy with the assigned room. She was dismissive and argumentative with me, and although she eventually found another room for me (the one I originally booked), the 1st impression was not good. Throughout my stay I also had issues with housekeeping not providing me a duvet for a blanket and taking a full bottle of champagne from the room. I stayed in many 5star hotels before and the service here was definitely not 5 stars.…

Excellent place to enjoy Milan. The location is perfect, close to all relevant places that one might want to visit in the central areas, and various restaurants. The building is beautiful and full of historical charm. The rooms are nice with some of the most comfortable beds I've slept in so far. The bathrooms are spacious and well-equipped. The staff is super-friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is excellent, too, and is served in hotel's bar. Completely recommended and would definitely stay again.

One of the nicest designed hotels. The service was excellent. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Nice touch of decoration all over the property. The library -bar - breakfast areas were unique. For sure a yes and a return to the hotel.

Had an amazing stay at this location. The front desk staff were so helpful and kind. The location is absolutely perfect. 10 minute walk to the duomo. We ate at the best restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel. We had the best breakfast during our entire stay in Italy at this hotel. The breakfast here is absolutely a must. The sauna was also wonderful to use after a long day to relax and unwind before dinner. Thank you again to the manager as we was very charming and welcoming!

Thank you for the comfortable stay, the rooms size very comfortable and in general the room was very nice, you need to be aware that the room we had was with stairs for the seating area WE LOVED IT we had no issue but for elderly need to be carful. The breakfast is in the touring club was amazing, they also have indoor garden very beautiful. overall very nice hotel with best location

First trip to Italy and first stop after a long haul flight, we couldn't have been more grateful to the team for their warm welcome and their generous upgrade! We had splurged on a nice room but the next level room was out of this world. What a wonderful way to start our holiday with a tour of the most amazing room we've ever stayed in. The team were all helpful and engaging. Nothing was too much trouble and the property brings old world charm with a modern and contemporary standard. Beautifully restored and grand, the hotel is close enough to the action but just out of the chaos with only a 10 min stroll to the Duomo. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel.
