Was upgraded to room with steam room in it due to having Marriott Ambassador status. Steam room was a nice and unique touch to thw room, I've not seen in the past. Bellhop were helpfull and efficient, but front desk and staff working in breakfast area were not. Breakfast was good, but not great. The room the breakfast is in is gorgeous, but most of it is just breads. We got breakfast for free so can't comment on if it's worth the price. I don't think I'd stay here again if in the area. Toiletries in the room were great.
This was our first trip to Milan and our accommodation at The Westin Palace Milan did not disappoint. The hotel is close to the Repubblica Metro which allowed us to get to most of the tourist spots fairly easily. The area felt safe and we were comfortable walking around throughout the day and night. Service was top notch and we would highly recommend the Westin Palace Milan. Check-in/Check-out: Very efficient and seamless. We had requested an early check-in and unfortunately our room was not ready. The front desk went above and beyond and were very accommodating in letting us use a room to freshen up. It was the little things that made our stay at the Westin Palace Milan so memorable. Housekeeping: Daily housekeeping and turn-down service were very thorough and efficient and did an amazing job keeping our Nespresso stocked with capsules and replenished our bottles of water. I had used the Bonvoy app to request toiletries or additional towels and housekeeping were very professional in meeting our requests. Breakfast: We opted for the buffet and there was excellent variety ranging from amazing pastries, hot food and cold cuts. Room: We were upgraded to a lovely suite which was amazing. The room has a nice palatial feel to it, lovely art deco, with wonderful bath amenities, lots of storage space and a hand steamer in lieu of an iron. The bar fridge was also stocked with drinks which were included in our room rate. …
This hotel is the perfect spot to stay while in Milan. The concierge Riccardo is accommodating to all your needs. we had a fantastic guide for The Last Judgement tour. I highly recommend this hotel and be sure to use Riccardo. Very knowledgeable, and thoughtful.
Had the pleasure of staying for a few days pre-christmas in December. Received excellent help with a package that was delivered over but was too big to fit in my suitcase. Riccardo the head concierge and team assisted me throughout the entire process even though I had to leave for another city and shipped the package back to my home country. Everything went well without any problems whatsoever, restaurant service was also amazing.
Rooms are large and comfortable. A bit worn out and outdated though. The hotel location is not very engaging but the metro station next door is very convenient. We were disappointed not being able to dine on premise as the restaurant was full with outside guest. A word of advance warning to book would have been nice. Staff was professional, courteous and efficient. Breakfast was very nice.
The hotel is great, provides all comfort and services required from a five star hotel. Although I am usually more keen on modern designs, I found this hotel with its Christmas Eve decor fabulous, and even found much more warmness than I would have found elsewhere. It is well located and the staff was great, there’s nothing we could need they would not strive to do or bring. Also, I found the grand luxe room to be as advantageous as a suite. I will always remember this hotel as one of the most « comfy » and best I have been to (compared to other Marriott 5 stars, Marquis or JW). Of course, the breakfast room is not of the greatest layout (buffet is great but the European capitals and main cities layout makes it difficult to have more room for better seating. Room breakfast might be a better option for some who prefer different layouts. The room service staff is great and it never took time to have our meals. Just as in all Marriott hotels visited (aside of some restaurants sometimes), it was to American standards, and I felt comfortable without having to behave or dress up in ultra chic garment to feel well. What else would we want or need, when taking a few days leave? Thanks also to all reception staff. Although we did not talk much, I felt they were great: awesome looking near all these Christmas decors, simple and smiling. They have to know that is not always the case, and they can be proud of this: I visited many countries and overwhelming locations, so I can say that I really can compare. They deserve our congratulations for this Italian hospitality.…
We are currently staying at the Westin palace for 6 nights in a modern grand deluxe contemporary room, one of the largest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in Europe. Rooms are clean with lovely amenities. It is in a quiet central part of town and very easy to get around as the metro stop is right by the hotel, 2 stops and you by the Duomo. Reception and manager extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay, will def return to this hotel.
As always The Westin palace in Milan remain the best hotel in the city! Our stay there is not over however I need to highlight an amazing person. Indeed, we went to the reception to ask for recommendations about restaurants nearby and Mary from the reception told us about Il tavolino Amazing restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine ! Thank you so much Mary for giving us amazing recommendations while managing many things at the same time !
Today is a lucky day: I found a mail from Riccardo, the Head Concierge at Westin Palace Hotel in Milan, telling me that a pochette with all documents, credit card, home and car keys and Iphone has been found in the hotel. My bag had been stolen days before. Riccardo took the time to find me, and I got everything back. What a fantastic service. It is good to know that kindness and good people still exist, THANK YOU Riccardo 👏👏👏
What a great experience. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Breakfast, dinner all tastes very nice. Service is great. Very friendly and your request is solved accurately. Special thanks to the concierge R. Arnaldi who helped me with tracking a large package, sent by a courier with may hick-ups. Grazie Mille.
