Went for 4 nights to Milan with my husband, was very impressed with Berna Hotel, we stayed in a Superior Room which was a good size and very reasonable in price, our room had a fridge which was filled everyday with water and minerals complimentary. Breakfast was lovely had a fantastic choice, and i cannot say enough about the staff...

As time passes I get to reach better places. Whilst not my favourite because of the location (Central Station, but not on the right side for me) and also the rooms are small - I did take a Confort room, not a standard one. Keys for this hotel are: the breakfast which is just lovely, will lots of choice and...

Stayed at Hotel Berna with my wife for 2 nights. Milan was out last stop of our 3 country holiday. Hotel Berna was definitely the best hotel, minus the view we had in Hotel Bellevue in Wengen Switzerland, for the holiday. Metro was less then a brisk walk. I must be honest that the initial reason I choose Hotel Berna...

We booked this hotel because of the positive remarks on Tripadvisor. It was all true ! The staff is most friendly, the hotel clean and comfortable, breakfast excellent. At 200 m. of the bus shuttle and the central station, there are only 4 metro stops to go to the duomo. If we have to go back to Milan, we will...

at this exactly moment while I am writing this, I am at the hotel having their wonderful free breakfast and using their FREE wifi. Breakfast is great here, it consists of variety of fruit, bread, cake, bacon, cold cut, flan, green beans, (I just got my second plate of) scamble eggs and etc... The waiters here are great, they would...

A couple of gal pals and I went to the Hotel Berna for an overnight stay. It was absolutely freezing when we went in January, so we were happy that it was near the train station, and only a short walk. There was also a subway stop just down the street from the hotel. The front desk staff was very...

Absolutely delighted with this hotel and it corresponded exactly to the reviews I read. Room was small, spotlessly clean and the breakfast excellent. Staff very gracious. Definitely would stay here again.

My recent stay in Hotel Berna makes me want to persuade others to choose this hotel when staying in Milan. First off the service is exemplary and super friendly. Moreover, this hotel is ideally located to discover what Milan has to offer. Very close to the central station, a metro station and the shuttle busses from and to the airport....

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
