Excellent location near stazione centrale and walking distance to shopping and attractions for leisure day. Excellent staff. Furniture old and dated but more than offset by staff helpful attitude. No AC in march despite warm day, 10C above normal for time of year. So use ceiling fan.

This is a solid, convenient hotel. The staff was was friendly and helpful. Above average. The stunning thing about this hotel is its breakfast. Perhaps the businessmen and others at the breakfast buffet see this as normal. We didn't. This was the largest, most sumptuous breakfast we have ever immersed ourselves in. And we did immerse ourselves. Highly recommended.

My family and I were in Milan recently and stayed at the Hotel Berna for 2 days and we couldn't have been more pleased. The location is minutes from the Milano Centrale train station and convenient to everything. The room was large by European standards and was immaculate, well decorated and cheery. The staff immediately made you feel like family...

This is a phenomenal place to stay in Milan. Very walkable to Milano Centrale and several good restaurants. The room was awesome: several snacks, free NA minibar, robe, slippers. If I'm ever in Milan again, this will be the first place I check when looking for a hotel.

The hotel is very clean and in a great location. They also provide special amenities and extras in the room that most hotels do not do. I highly recommend hotel. The location is great as it is very close to Central Train Station.

Breakfast - good variety and sumptuous A bit far away from Malpensa Airport - 90-95 Euros: one way to airport by taxi/cab A nearby cafe -...

Centrally located we liked this hotel. The staff was friendly the room was fine, a bit on the small side but fine. They insisted that we turn in our keys to the front seat for our security but upon checking g they gave us a key to someone else's room and we walked right in. Lucky they weren't in the...

Everything was perfect. Hotel is at 2 min. walking distance to central railway station, from which you can directly access to Malpensa airport and touristic locations of Milano. The hotel cares much about the cleanliness, even the elevator was clean and smelling nice. Room facilities are very good. Bed is large (even if I stayed in a single room) and...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
