A perfect location. Friendly, professional personnel. Amazing breakfast. Clean, cosy elegant and spacious rooms. We really loved our stay in Milano and one of the reason was that we stayed in this nice hotel. I will surely return here when I come back to Milano.

We stayed there for one night. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The price is really good. And it's only one metro station to the trainstation and three to the duomo. I can only reccomend this hotel.

The reason for not 5 in rating is that internet password needed more than once a day + twin bed instead of double (couple traveling). But the price was reasonable and perfect location - not far from central station.

We were very happy overall with the Windsor. If you are coming in by train to Milan Centrale station, the hotel is an easy 10-15 minute walk. The location is also walkable to many of the main attractions in Milan. We had a standard room, and it was just fine. Comfy bed and linens, mini refrigerator, tv, a surprisingly large... More

The hotel is close to the train station. They messed up my room so they upgraded me to a beautiful junior suite which was great customer service. The room amenities are great and it was very spacious. However where my room was located was a bit noisy, because the tram moves right NEXT to the hotel, which was not the... More

Great hotel and well presented and great facilities. Stayed on the top floor and couldn't hear the trams unless the window was open. Location was good and trams to the centre were easy. Walking distance from main station. Breakfast was good and had alot of variety, one of the best buffet italian breakfasts. Would recommend.

We were in Windsor at 13times. There is our favorite hotel in Milan: near Centrale FS, near Giardini Pubblici, near Montenapoleone & Spiga, near Corso Como. Good breakfast for 4* hotel, nice new cafe-bistro Clodette with street view. Good value!

We liked the stay very much. The only down side was that we had our room on the first floor and under us there were a cafe that turned in to a club friday night. It was a bit loud, but they turned the music of around 2.

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Choosing Hotel Windsor you'll enjoy the most elegant district of Milan: the so-called Quadrilatero della moda and Corso Como are the boundaries of this area; the hotel is also at a short distance from the next coming Porta Nuova business centre that will draw the future profile of the city. The location is strategic because it is just outside of the limited traffic C area, so our guests can leave their car in our parking garage and move freely on foot or by public transport. We are situated at 150 meters from Repubblica railway station, where to get the metro M3 "yellow line" integrated with the railway passing, and we are just at 10 minutes walk from Milano Centrale railway station, a further advantage for those arriving by train. ... more   less
