The stay was pleasant, it has this easy, laid back atmosphere in a hidden street. Centrally and conveniently located, just few hundred meters away from Duomo and metro stations. The room while small has a space maximising design, it is very basic but functional, bathroom has the right size too. It has huge windows (made up of a few small and big windows that overlook the rooftops). Things that I think can improve would be to consider installing automatic blinds from outside of the window to block light complete and to save the effort of lowering the blinds one by one. As of now, the blinds still leave some little gaps and light can get through in the morning. Secondly, to have better paved way from the lobby to the elevators, currently the path can sometimes be wet/ uneven for luggage. Thirdly, for a hotel with green policy, cleaning staff should be trained to respect the rule of not changing towels if not left on the floor. It would be helpful to have a hand towel hook/rack near the washing basin. …
This was the best hotel I have stayed in, in Italy. Clean, modern, comfortable and the staff cannot do enough for you. Such great people. Its 5 mins walk from Duomo and the view from the roof is incredible! Thank you Emmanuel and team :-)
We were lucky to find this hotel during Milan Fashion week. It is close to all attractions of Central Milan; 5 minutes walk to Duomo, Scala and what else. Very friendly staff. Very comfortable beds. Supper clean. It was to cold for having breakfast on their supper terras a real bonus during spring and summer. Highly recommended.
My husband was in Milan for work and I accompanied him, so it was very nice to be in the heart of the city. The hotel was beautifully located and we loved the room, it was spacious and modern, if the mattress was a little too soft for my preference. The staff at reception was friendly and it was convenient to have a cocktail machine, drinks/snacks for purchase in the lobby. My only problem was that I am a light sleeper and I felt that the walls probably were thin as I could hear everything going on in the corridor and especially in the streets eg the rubbish trucks. Then it’s not the hotel’s fault, but there’s a building being constructed nearby and that was very noisy in the day. All in all it was a very good stay and we enjoyed it very much.
Very good location, close to Duomo & starbucks reserve! very very good breakfast with lot of choices the only thing that must be change is to put more lights in bathroom & generally in the room, the staff was very helpful!
This is one of the more affordable hotels that you will find in the heart of Milan. It is a basic budget hotel; it is clean and mostly functional. Pros: --The beds are surprisingly comfortable. I won't say luxurious, but the mattresses were better than we would expect at this class of hotel. --They have very good blackout curtains to help you sleep in. --Safe area of town and safe feeling within the hotel grounds. Cons: --When I say basic hotel, I mean basic: bring your own wash cloth, facial tissue, hair conditioner, tea/coffee kettle, and, sometimes, your own hot water (certain times are better than others). It's mostly just a place to sleep. --Outside noise can be a problem (not the hotel's fault). Noise from the maids is almost guaranteed to be a problem. Once housekeeping starts cleaning your hall, you are done sleeping. Done. Never heard so much noise from housekeeping. It's not really the maids' fault; it's more the materials used to construct the hotel, which convey sound like no other place I've stayed. Overall, a functional stay. Don't expect anything above a basic, functional stay. Location can't be beat.…
our room was good enough for the three of us and one child, bedding’s were clean and smells good, the toilet and bath was beautiful and spacious. i was surprised with the breakfast which has a lot of options and they were all delicious, served hot and yummy, your place is highly recommendable.
Good enough to spend one night in Milano. Very good location but it's very noisy in the morning because of the trams. Great terrace on the roof with a great view. Breakfast wasn't included but it has a reasonable price and seems quite good. If you order via Booking.com mobile application this increases the price. Ordering via the website is cheaper than the mobile application. A bit weird providing access to the wifi. You should subscribe to something using your Facebook account. There is a trick - if you connect your phone to the TV for casting it will provide you with Internet access without registration. Mattresses are absolutely uncomfortable. You should keep a balance to not fall down.
This hotel, located on a quiet side street, offers a modern, super-clean room with a comfy bed for a great price. If you want a fancy lobby, bar on site, etc, it's not for you, but if you want a great place to stay and don't want to break your budget, I highly recommend! Even though I was traveling solo, I reserved a double room with a view. It was perfect! Be sure to head up to the rooftop terrace at night for a great city view. A few things to know so you're happy: - The only toiletry item provided is a combo body/hair gel in a pump bottle attached to the wall (nice stuff!). Bring your own body lotion and hair conditioner. - You can buy bottled water in the lobby for regular shop prices so you don't have to go out of your way to get that. - Mattress is comfy solid foam but definitely firm! Just be aware if you like a really soft mattress. - Breakfast is self-service and offers lots of options including decent scrambled eggs. As another reviewer mentioned, coffee and juice is from a machine but it's good! In addition to indoor tables, there's outdoor seating in a courtyard. Unfortunately, I was there in November so just a bit too chilly in the morning to sit outside.…
We stayed 3 nights in B&B Hotel Milano City Center Duomo. The location of the hotel was excellent, very close to Duomo and Sforzesco Castle as well as to public transport. The view from the Terrace at 9th floor especially at night was breath taking. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful.
